I'm really going to do better this time.....

Im always get excited about starting this blog thing and then just being to tired and busy to keep it up is always my problem! But I am going to do better this time...PROMISE!! We just got home from Orange Beach on Sunday..we had a great time, just too short..we usually go for a week but since we are going to Disney World in September, we just decided to do a short trip and save our money for Disney.....It is so hard to believe that school is starting in a little under 4 weeks..we have so much to do before then...today I spent a FORTUNE on the kids uniforms for school...my sweet little Annellise has really outgrown EVERYTHING, so I had to buy it all for her...luckily Harper can still fit in his shorts I just have to get him pants because the ones he has are TOO short...my sweet boy just gets taller and taller everyday but can still wear a 5 year olds pants in the waist.ha...he is SOOO skinny..( I wish I had that problem)
Annellise gets her cast off hopefully on Tuesday the 22nd...since it is her right arm she has not been able to write at all, so we really need it off so she can start practicing again before school starts...it has been WONDERFUL having a "swim cast" on ....it has been better for us all....she would cry and cry when we wanted to swim and she couldnt so it ruined everybodys time and it broke my heart! She has been a trooper though...much better than I was 3 yrs ago when I broke my wrist...mine itched and hurt all the time..she has only complained of it itching 1 time...praise God that children can handle situations like that so much better....
This weekend we are off to another baseball tournament...we are having so much fun this season playing with his team...he has such great kids and even if they win or lose it doesnt matter to them, they just love to play and that is really what it is all about! Saturday morning his games start at 9...followed by another at 12...then if we win or lose will decide the times of the next games...the only problem is it is SOOO HOT!!! Luckily the paper said the high for Sat. is in the high 80s so I might can handle that! it is on Lakeland drive so we will be able to come home in the afternoon if time allows and he can rest and "cool down"...
We missed Church tonight and I am so sad....Bert has strep throat and I have had a terrible headache since yesterday...I was really looking forward to going.. I love going on Wednesday nights...its so personal, i just love it....I am going to be a new aunt any day now....I cant wait...another little boy whose name will be Nate...I love calling him "baby Nate" for some reason so who knows if that will stick...he has a big sister named Presley and we are wanting her to come and stay sometime in the next few weeks so Erin can get some rest and adjust to having 2 children under the age of 2 1/2!!!

I am trying to keep up on my blogging but I stay so busy that it is so hard! I still havent finished putting up my Christmas stuff yet...Bert is hunting and I am home with the kids..we are beginning to g..o a little stir crazy....they have played with all their new toys till they are not now anymore..ha! Harper is loving his laptop and has been playing computer games especially The Simms..that game seems so fun...he makes houses and families and then sort of lives their day to day lives...Annellise got an Easy Bake oven and we got it out to use it last night and NO LIGHT BULB....Im so crazy I knew it needed one but just assummed any one would do, but no, you have to have a certain watt for it to work so in a few minutes we are off to find a light bulb so we can make a VERY small cake!!!
WE had a wonderful Christmas and a fun New Year...on Christmas Eve Bert and the kids went to Cleveland and had Christmas with his family..this was my year of Christmas call and I had to work and got called back in! Christmas morning the kids got up about 7:30 and we had our family Christmas, then about 9 we all went to Alli's and had a wonderful breakfast and presents then everyone came back to our house to check out Harper and Annellise's stuff...then at 5 we headed to Hazlehurst for Christmas at Caki and Pops.....Bert and I had to work Friday and Saturday so we missed the Crutcher Christmas but Caki and Pop took the kids....thank you Caki and Pop!! On New Years Eve everyone came to our house for fireworks and dinner (rice,blackeyed peas, sausage and cornbread) YUM!! Happy New Year!

Gosh, its been so long since I have posted on the blog...I have been so busy and sort of involved with facebook that I forgot my poor little blog! We have been a BUSY family and time has just flown by since Thanksgiving. I cant believe Christmas will be here in 2 weeks............Speaking of weeks...MY 36th Birthday is Monday!!! Yeah for me!! Just kidding...I am 36 with an 80 year old body ha! Its hard to believe in 4 short years I will be 40--it seems hard to believe, but Bert will be 40 before me!!!
On a better note, IT SNOWED TODAY!!!! I was fast asleep (I usually do this after the kids go to school) and at 8:30am the phone rang...Annellise's teacher was calling to say school was closing..so much for my sleep....It was sleeting more than snowing and REALLY cold!!!I also had Payton all day ..boy am I tired!!! All my children do is FIGHT....Do all brothers and sisters fight and when does it end? Not too long ago they played so sweetly together and now they cant be in the same room...It drives me crazy, but on some days they are best friends!!!
Tonight we were suppose to go see Santa at the Ag Museum and ride the carasel and train and hear choirs sing..I was all excited but now I doubt they will have it--it was planned for outside and it is still VERY cold and "musshy"...oh well, I guess Mr. Jingles (our elf on the shelf) will have to talk to santa for them...
Tommorrow Bert and I are going on the 3rd grade field trip to see " A Christmas Carol" at New Stage and then eat at Chucky Cheese..I have to say that it has probobly been over a year or two that I have eaten there but I think I am excited!! I love pizza from there!! Tommorrow night Alli is babysitting and Bert and I are going on a "date" to eat at PF Changs ( I think my favorite place ) and then either shopping or a movie--then Saturday night we are off to the Miskelly Christmas party---Sunday is church and my "family" birthday dinner (Kyle is making homeade chicken and dumplings and mom is making my "birthday" strawberry cake ( She makes that EVERY year--my favorite)....then on Monday (my real birthday) I have to work...boo hoo!!!
On top of everything, I still have presents to wrap..I just cant get "into" it...Usually they are wrapped by Thanksgiving but having our house painted and everything being a MESS--I just didnt do it...now it is 15 days till Christmas and they are not done...BUT my Christmas cards are done and mailed!!! So at least that was done! Im off to clean and HOPEFULLY wrap presents ...

Labor Day...

1.with Harper-- 16 LONG hours (but he was out in only 2 pushes thank goodness)
2.with Annellise--45 minutes..my water broke at 12:30 am and I was 0 cent. and I delivered at
1:15 am ( I was already at the hospital because I was going to be induced at 7 that morning)

How did you know you were in labor?
1.I started having contractions at work and they were about 4 minutes apart
2.my water broke

Where did you deliver?
1.in Fort Worth, Texas at Harris Methodist Hospital
2. at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS

Drugs?
1. and 2. NONE--I am a real woman..just kiddidng..they tried to give me an epidural with
Harper but they tried for over a hour and could never get it in and with Annellise she came so
fast we never had a chance to try

Who delivered?
1. I had never even met the dr. that delivered Harper--my dr wasnt on call so I had to take who

2. The ER doctor, Dr. Brooks had to come up from the ER and deliver Annellise because my dr.
was in the car driving to the hospital

I have been so busy and I do have to admit I am a little addicted to facebook now....its so much fun...A lot has happened since my last blog post....We are in the full swing of school and I have to brag on my son, he has the 3rd highest reading points in his class---YEAH! ( they have to read books on their own time and go to school and take tests on them on the computer..therefore they get points) We are so proud of him...last year he didnt do to good and didnt get to go on the field trip with his grade because he didnt have enought points and it broke his little heart so now he is MOTIVATED and Bert and I have given him a little push--ha---
we had our first football game-we lost of course but my little Annellise sure did look cute cheering on the track during the 2nd quarter....She had 2 birthday parties last Saturday and let me tell you--it WORE me out!! the 1st was at Libby LU and all the little girls had their hair and makeup done..they were adorable! then about 3 hours later, she had another party at Justice and it was the same thing--hair and makeup but it is a store too and Annellise was in the window being a maniquin just a dancing to the traffic..it was so funny!
Last Sunday I was feeling terrible and ended up running fever of 102--I havent felt like that in a long time..I went to see the allergy dr. on Wednesday for my terrible itching and rashes that will not go away..he said I was weezing and was worried about that more than my itching--anyway, I am on a steriod and antibiotic to clear up all my symptoms and I am having allergy test done on Thursday--I am not excited about that but I am SO tired it itching....
Harper has started fall baseball again (we got a 2 wk break) and we are just waiting to hear about his flag football team and practice schedule...he tried out last Tuesday and did GREAT!!
Annellise starts dancing on Wednesday and we sighned up for tumbling on Fridays...Ever since the Olympics she had done handstands and flips on all the furniture!
My cousin Maggie got married today and she was just beautiful!! I had to get up at 6 am to make muffins today for the bridesmaid breakfast and came home and did laundry and changed the sheets..I am getting nervous about this hurricane...I just pray that we all make it through this---today on the way to the wedding the kids and I were watching all the cars coming north on the interstate loaded full and I just thought to myself how sad they must be to pack up all your valuable things in your car and leave not knowing if you will have anything to come back to--I cant even imagine--I hope and pray that God blesses all those people and that this hurricane is not going to be as bad as they think.... Well I better go to bed, I am worn out!

Busy Week!

well we have gotten back in the swing of things I think---both kids had tests this week and homework...Annellise was so excited that she had homework like Harper and she couldnt wait to get home and do it..I wonder how long that will last...she did it ALL by herself and memorized her Bible verse this week for a grade and made 100 and she was good all week (got her green light pen to wear)---Harper read I think 7 or 8 books this week (maybe more) and took test on them to get 6 points (you have to have 25 by the end of the 9 wks) we had told him if he got 5 points a week he would get a small surprise (he didnt do well on this last yr and didnt get to go on the special field trip--so this year HE WAS going to do it like he should ) the good thing is HE WANTS to do it and that makes it so much more fun and enjoyable---he was SO proud of himself for getting over 5 points....
We are starting baseball AGAIN--I think I only got 2 wks break--he is playing fall ball with his tournament All-Star team, so here we go again---he will play at least 10 games for sure and maybe more! He is also playing Upwards flag football at our church and he is excited about that--he tries out on Tuesday...Anyway that is about all that has gone on..the boys are at the church for the Mans Night and Annellise has been in Hazlehurst with Alli and her kids with Caki and Pop...they are on their way home now....Tomorrow is church and "family time"--Bert is hopefully taking us to Sal and Mookies after church for our "weekly" dinner with our 3 families we eat with EVERY Sunday---its always a lot of fun!

Could it get any worse?

Last week was a VERY stressful week for Bert..he had the grand opening of the new Miskelly store in Madison and there was a big gala Thursday night..I think he said he put in 80 hrs just last week...Anyway, Wednesday morning he had gotten brand new tires put on his truck (something he had needed for a while but just kept putting it off) and stopped for lunch at The Cherokee on I55 before heading to Madison...when he walked out to leave, guess what...NO TRUCK!!! His truck was STOLEN!!! and to top it all off, his wallet was in the truck ( he carries a money clip for his cash in his pocket and doesnt carry the wallet at all times--BIG MISTAKE!!)---not to mention about 5 pairs of pants and a few shirts he had just picked up at the cleaners, 2 guns, his car keys (he uses the push button code to get in and out of the truck), the garage door opener, the keys to his boat and the lock to the boat, a depth finder for the boat, his IPOD, his new Blackberry phone, and Im sure more stuff that he hasnt even thought of.....We thought we had been fast enough canceling all the credit cards that were in the wallet, but these people obviously had a plan..they spent what we have estimated to be about 1500.00 in a mere 30-45 minutes..they went to Target and bought a 700.00 flat screen ( I guess they never checked her ID--that was a woman who did that because they have her on servalence--hopefully they will arrest her today) and they must have just passed out cards to all their friends because they bought gas at lots of different places at about the same time----it just SUCKS!!! and it is such a pain to have to do all the paperwork and WORK of cancelling everything and doing all the runaround! I just feel so violated!! It is scary knowing they can just drive up and come on in with my garage opener and they have our address just by looking at Berts license....I am sure thought they dont really care about that stuff they want the easy stuff like credit cards, guns, and a brand new set of 1000.00 tires on a fairly new truck!!!! I think we have learned a lesson--dont leave anything in your vehicle!!!

Baseball is OVER---FOR NOW!!!

Gosh, it has been so long since I have posted..School is starting this week and we finished All star baseball this weekend..we played a tournament in Vicksburg Friday night and 2 games on Saturday and I have to say that it was the MOST MISERABLE we have ever been in our life!! It was about 100 degrees and not a breeze blowing! The poor boys were out there in all those hot uniforms during the hottist time of the day...Harper has been running fever on and off all week and has had a persistant cough that I cant get to go away..in fact we are waiting on the after hours Childrens Clinic to open at 1:00 so we can get him in to see a doctor...For now we have no sports to play for about 3 weeks, then flag football and fall baseball start up..at least we get a little break..I am ready for school to start and get us back on our routine...we go tommorrow night for a parents meeting to find out Annellise's teacher and class and Tuesday night we go to a meeting for Harpers class---I cant believe I have a 3rd grader..I am getting OLD!!! and next year my baby will be in the 1st grade...oh, I cant even think about it!!!

I have waited for today since I went to work last Wednesday---I am so glad I am off...I do not think I could have worked another day ,in fact they asked and I said NO WAY! I dont know why but my work week was TERRIBLE...oh, well its over and I am off until next Wednesday..we do have something planned everyday though, today I am going to the dentist.yuck! Alli is being sweet and coming over to keep the kids and swim so they are excited! Tommorrow poor little Annellise is going to get her shots for school..she is such a big girl I think she will be fine, plus she will get a surprise after so that always helps..HA! we are then going to get school supplies..I am so excited...I LOVE SCHOOL SUPPLY SHOPPING!!!! School starts on Aug 11 so its almost here! I am ready for school to start..I need to get them back on a schedule and it will be a lot cheaper for Bert and I ..right now each day they go to daycare its 40.00 a day not counting lunch money and fun money (they go swimming, bowling,skating, and to the movies) that is not included in my 40.00...so it all adds up FAST! During the school yr its only 2.00 an hour and Harper only goes about 1 1/2 hrs a day so he only cost about 5.00 a day and Annellise is about 10.00 a day....so its MUCH cheaper!!!
We have a busy weekend planned...its BASEBALL all weekend...Harper has a tournament Fri. and Sat. so we will be doing that all weekend..luckily Bert is off so he will be there and dad is coming to the games too...Its just going to be so HOT!!!
Monday we are going to see Nannie in the Nursing Home..she is dying for us to come and play Bingo so we are going to be there to play with her and visit..she is LOVING the nursong home..its so funny because its like a college dorm and she has so many friends there so she is getting cought up on all her "gossip" and playing bingo....I am so glad she is happy! we have all been so worried about her but she just jumped right in and is having a ball....praise God!!!
Gotta go get ready for the dentist...I would much rather have a baby with no meds!! ha!! I AM SERIOUS! there is nothing worse to me than going to the dentist.....

A new Week.....

We had a very relaxing weekend--thank goodness! Saturday we did hardly anything and when Bert got home from work we all went to the movies...Annellise and I went to see Kit Kiddridge..an American Girl..it was so cute and she looked like such a big girl with her popcorn and drink ( they have a kids pack and its all togther, so convienient) and Harper, Bert, and Payton went to see Wall-E..the kids liked it but Bert thought it was stupid--oh well....then we went to Target...Bert got the kids a BIG surprise....Annellise finally got her a pink Nintendo DS and she has not put it down since Saturday night..they were even up at 6:30 am Sunday to play...Harper got a PSP..he has been wanting it forever! He also has not put it down.....My kids have been WONDERFUL and QUIET since we bought the games...why did we not buy them sooner HA! Anyway, after church and late yesterday afternnon, we had a "pool party"...we invited 3 other friends and families (besides Alli and her family) and swam and cooked out hamburgers and hotdogs...it was lots of fun, it did rain for about 30 minutes and the kids had a "BLAST" jumping on the trampoline in the pouring rain..they just giggled and giggled !!!!
the only sad thing is out of all our friends Bert and I are the oldest!!!!! (everyone else is in their early 30's, one girl is still 29) I guess hanging around the "young" couples makes Bert and I young too!!!ha!!! Today we woke up and our air condition isnt working---its crazy because ut had its "check up" last Wednesday...sometimes I think they break something in order for you to have to spend money to fix it......I hate when its hot in our house---its so hot poor Harper is walking around with his shirt off and has the portable fan pointed at his head...HE IS SO MY CHILD!!!!ha!! The guy is here now "fixing" it...I cant wait to see what is wrong...I start my work week on Wednesday and Harper has a bball game on Friday night ...so our week isnt that busy..thank goodness!

July 4th

We had so much fun last night--Bert had set up our tent on Thursday night and taken our chairs-we got there about 5:30 on Friday and there were so many people there...we had taken a cooler of drinks and lots of snacks and I had 2 tables set up under our tent with lots of treats---we had Alli,Kyle, Payton ,and Price, mom and dad, and her best friend "aunt Linda", Bubba, Cindy and her daughter, Missy and her family and the Daniels stopped in "under the tent"---it was so much fun! We have had God and Country day for years but I have to say this year was the best! Annellise and Payton sang on the stage that night ( a song from Bible School) and then after snacking on some dinner- we took the blanket back up to the stage and watched the band 33 miles ( they were really great!) --after they sang we went back to the tent and got either in a chair or on the blanket and watched the fireworks----after cleaning up and coming home Bert and the kids went outside and shot some fireworks of their own...the kids were wound up and I had a hard time getting them to go to bed but they did sleep until 10:30 am----yeah for me!!!!

This sums up my life lately! We have been on the go for the last few weeks..today Annellise and I slept until 11:30..(I did wake up earlier but laid back down with her) she has been so tired and fussy lately..Im sure its because we havent gotten in the bed before 10:30 all week..We have had Bible School and it has really been fun! Im not much of a teacher and in fact asked not to be one but I was and I really enjoyed it...Bert,Kyle, Allison, and I were all teachers (tribe leaders) and I just loved our little group..we had kids from 2nd to 6th grade and they are just wonderful kids..it jut makes me so happy when their mom tells us that they couldnt wait to come see us at Bible School each night. Tonight or this afternoon is God and Country Day at the church..we set up our tent last night and we are going when Bert gets off work this afternnon. We st up chairs and some people bring grills and cook..its going to be so much fun because our Sunday School class all set up our tents together so we will all be around each other, Lots of Fun! Anyway, they have big jumping things for the kids and a water slide, at 6 the kids choir puts on a program, the adult choir sings, the kids sing the songs we learned at VBS,our preacher says a little something ( I LOVE him!--he is I think my favorite preacher I have ever had!), and then the band 33 Miles is putting on a concert, then FIREWORKS!!! so we are really excited about this afternoon.....
Thank goodness we have NO plans for tommorrow, my plan is to spend the afternoon by the pool with my children or we might go see Nannie if it rains..she is going to a Nursing Home..it just breaks my heart, but she just cant walk by herself anymore since she fell a few months ago and mom and dad just cant do it anymore by themselves..it breaks my heart but they just dont have a choice! In some ways, I think Nannie will really enjoy being with other people because if she was at home she would just be in her room all by herself all day and that just makes me sad..At the nursing home some of her friends are there and she will get to spend time and have some "fun"...
Back to our crazy world, we are still doing baseball...Harper had a tournament 2 wks ago and it was so HOT! as I said in the picture, we all passed the stomach virus around and she was recovering from it and had to go to the game..I did make her lay down alot and stay in front of the fan...but bless her heart she was miserable! Our next tournament is the 18 and 19 .....My friend Kay and I took the kids to Yogi Bear Park last Tuesday, it was a lot of fun...Harper got bored and was ready to go after a few hours..It is really geared to more Annellise's age and younger but it is neat knowing that something like that is this close...We are planning on renting a cabin in the fall...they have lots of stuff planned for the kids...
Bert and I are just getting older by the day Ha! Bert has shingles and he was pretty miserable for a few days..it is still all on his back but the itching and pain is better...the dr. said it is caused by stress and with his new position and the opening of the new Miskelly store he has been pretty STRESSED OUT! My hip has been bothering me a lot and I am trying to decide if I need to go to the dr. because its not getting better..I was hoping it was a muscle but I am starting to think that its not because Im not feeling better..anyway the Bell family is "falling apart"---I have been trying my best to keep the kids away from Bert because shingles is a form of the chicken pox and since they havent had it they could get it from Bert's shingles----they did have the "chicken pox" shot when they were 1 so lets just pray that it really works!
Our dog Molly got "fixed" last week in order to calm her down but it hasnt really worked...ha.....she is still crazy and wild as ever! I think I have covered what has happened lately....I wil post pics of the July 4th celebration and VBS later...have a Great July 4th!

Baseball, Baseball,and Baseball!

That just about sums up our last week..Im not even sure where I need to begin...After vacation it was back to work...I have worked every day and I am WORN out! Today was our first day to sleep in and NO ONE woke up before 10:30 (but Bert, he had to go to work)...Last week every night either Harper had bball practice or a game and some nights he had both (he is on 2 teams)- but surpizingly he still LOVES it, I have been worried he would get burned out but it doesnt seem to be happening..he just LOVES baseball! His Raymond team is very laid back and SLOW, I had no idea how slow kid pitch baseball is..they take forever on the mound waiting to throw the ball...Oh, I almost forgot, my baby got to pitch in the game Friday night and he did GREAT! I think he may have found his position! He is fast and doesnt wait to throw it and because of that he did strike many out..he did GREAT! I just cant stop bragging on him and the funny thing is, it was the first time EVER for him to pitch in a game but you would have thought he had done it forever! Saturday we spent ALL day in Florence at the baseball field, he played in a tournament ( his ALL Star team) and we were there until 8:45 that night..after we went to eat Mexican ( Harper got to pick) and then off to bed...Sunday we went to church and the kids swam with Bert all afternoon...bless his heart, he was so excited to spend his Fathers Day on his new boat but it was just too hot after lunch...For supper we went to P F Changs...It was awesome! I am not sure I would ever take the kids back because they just dont eat Chinese food but I was proud of Sweet Pea, she tried just about everything and liked some of it, I made Harper try but he just started crying and said it was gross, but they did enjoy the chop sticks! Yesterday I worked and the kids went to daycare and bball practice again ( 3 hours)...today is REST day although I have so much to do....I need to go buy their school uniforms but I am too lazy to actually get dressed and drive there...Ha...I wanted the sun to be shining but it is cloudy, so that messed up my plans to get some sun and swim all day, it makes it not so fun when it just looks like its going to rain...Tonight Harper has a bball game in Raymond and Thursday night too and we have another tournament in Morton this weekend..poor Annellise, she is going to have to miss her friend Ashley's bday party because of the tournament..she has to sacrifice so much too for her brother's baseball.. I feel so badly about that, but Caki is going to be out of town and I cant be at two places at once...that is the only thing I hate about Bert working on Saturdays because som times its just not fair that they have to choose between each others activites because I am only one person!

Back from the beach!

Why is it when you get back from vacation you need another one to recover...we had so much fun! we left last Saturday and got back this Saturday at noon--we had to get back eary because Harper had All-Star practice..
When we got to Mobile on the way we HAD to eat at Dreamland Bar-B-Q..it was really good! We got to the condo about 10:30 pm --we got up Sunday and ate lunch at the Hangout! COOL PLACE! it is new and is really neat..when the rest of the family got there we got groceries and settled in ! the kids swam EVERYDAY...we would wake up and eat a breakfast that Kyle had prepared and out to the pool we would go! We cooked every other night and went out the other nights...We shopped at the outlet mall, rode the fairswheel at the Wharf, swam, and ATE! On Friday Berts friend Nate and his wife came so we hung out with them at the pool all afternoon and Bert and I went out to eat with them on Friday night..We owe them so much because they took care of my babies Molly and Bella All week so we would not have to board them...it was so sweet of them to offer and I am sure they loved being spoiled. When we got back from eating the kids, Alli, and mom when to the pool area to watch a movie..it is so much fun, we popped popcorn and took our drinks to the pool and watched Alvin and the Chipmonks...fun! We left early on Saturday morning as I said before for bball practice and then he had a pool party last night....Today we went to church, ate Mexican (of course) and back to bball practice...Annellise had her picture made and its back to church in a few minutes...I still havent put up all the clothes! I hate coming HOME FROM VACATION! (there is SO MUCH TO DO) anyway, I am off tommorrow but the kids have denist appointments and Annelllise has dance practice at school..Hopefully I can catch up because I work from Tues to next Tuesday----I cant wait for next Tuesday--ha!

As you can see from the pictures, we had a great weekend! Annellise played a bball game on Friday night-Saturday we actually had NOTHING to do! I couldnt believe it! I think it was the first Saturday all year that we didnt have a bball game or a birthday party to go to and it was so nice..the kids and I slept until 10:30...Sunday we went to church and had our crawfish cookout...Bert and Kyle cooked A LOT of crawfish! Everyone started to show up about 2 and didnt leave until close to 7:00 pm...it rained on and off a little that afternnon but nothing that made us have to go in..the kids did have to get out of the pool for about a hour due to lightening and thundering...but they had plenty to do...jump on the tramp., play ball, and throw water balloons ( I bought 600 water balloons and I think I have about 100 left)...Little Price was my little man, Alli was working until 4:30 and Kyle was cooking so my friend Alice and I were his "baby sitters" He LOVES his Mamie!
We didnt do anything on Monday---Bert worked and the kids and I slept until almost 11 am---we were worn out! I woke up sick --my eyes were matted shut, my head killing me , and my whole right side of my head is stopped up..Today we all slept until 10 am and I woke up feeling bad again--I guess its a summer cold...I need to get well because we leave Saturday for the beach! I have to work tommorrow,Thurs, and Friday...yuck! I hate going back to work..It usually kills my back after being off for a week! I am trying to tell Bert I just need to stay home all the time! ha! Saturday Annellise has a bball game at 10 and after we are going to Mazzios for her after the season party and to get her trophy...then at 1:00 Harper plays his game..the ceramony for his league is at 4:00 and we are going to miss that because we are leaving for Orange Beach about 2:30 or 3:00-----Oh, I almost forgot...my little Harper got chosen for ALL-STARS in little league baseball! YEAH HARPER! we are so proud of him! so now that means traveling to games now--his All-Star team will play in tournaments all over Mississippi!
Well I better go, Bert took the kids to the Braves game tonight so I am home alone--that NEVER happens and I am dying to go take a long hot shower and get in the bed an read a book with no interruptions....I will post lots of pictures when we get home from vacation a week from Saturday!

Another Week!

this week went by so fast..I ended up working Monday and Tuesday ( my off days) and I worked Wednesday--I was off Thursday and Friday...Thursday after school Russell came over and spent the night..they played all afternoon outside and then we went to Academy and Zaxby's for supper...Friday was both kids end of the year party--I went with Annellise to the Cheer Academy and Bert went with Harper to the Fullington's house (they have a huge yard and cook hamburgers and hotdogs) were they ran around and played..Saturday we woke up early and Harper and i went to Brandon where he played in another tournament ..he had his 1st game at 8:30 am, the 2nd at 11:50 and the 3rd at 5:30 pm...they won all 3 games ( he was suppose to play on Sunday but had to miss because we went to Memphis) but they ended up winning on Sunday so they won 1st place in the whole tournament and got a trophy...we are going to have to get a shelf to put all his trophys on...Today we got up early again and drove to Erin's in Memphis for Presley's 1st birthday...she is the cutiest little thing..I could just eat her up....Erin made her birthday cake and it was delicious...(It had strawberry filling in the middle)...After the party we drove back home and we are ready to start a new week...I work Mon and Tues then I am off until next Wednesday! yeah!!!! I have so much to do at home--first is clean out their closets and put up all the clothes that are too little and move the fall clothes to the back of the closet and the summer to the front....Harper has gotten taller and a little bigger in the waist...He eats ALL the time! but bless his heart he is so skinny! Tommorrow Harper has bball practice and Annellise has bball pictures and a game at 7:30 also Bert has a bball game so we will be late getting home...then Annellise has a game Tues, Thurs, and Friday and Harper has one on Thurs. night too!

Gosh, I cant believe its Monday already...Last week just flew by---I guess we were so busy...Wednesday Annellise had her K4 play, it was so cute as you can see by the pics...Thurs. Harper had a bball game and Bert took me to see Bret Michaels in Vicksburg..he is SO FINE!!!! but I have to say I felt like I was in the 80's---were do girls still get clothes like that--it was all big hair, boobs, and short,tight black dresses..Bert and I were amazed and it was really nasty...2 girls were on the very front dressed like that..Do groupies still exist? Needless to say, these 2 old people were home by 11:00....Friday just school and running errandsand I got to eat lunch with Harper at school, then I went to get sweet pea and I sat with her and Payton in the cafeteria and ate lunch again with them--Harper spent the night with Russell...Saturday Bert was off and we sent our afternoon at Bert's friend Nate's wedding....(Harper loves Nate too) I was worn out Saturday night--I am not ready to wear high heels for that long with my back troubles...Saturday night Bert and Harper went to see Iron Man ( Harper saw it 2 times this weekend) Sunday was a wonderful Mother's Day--we went to church then Harper had bball practice (he is playing on another team in Raymond too) and then we all met (alli and family, mom and dad and us ) and went to Newks in Clinton to eat---MY FAVORITE PlACE--(not Berts) thank you for my gifts Bert, Harper, and Annellise ---I love them and I love you!!!

Oh my goodness..I have never been so glad its Monday..this weekend was NONSTOP---Friday was field day and the kids had a great time, even after it was over and we were sitting on the bleachers with Harper's class-Annellise and Payton ran and ran up and down the football field..where does the energy come from? after field day Payton came home with us and we went to Clinton to Hibbett sports..I love sporting good stores..we had to buy Annellise some new New Balance tennis shoes..she needed some but her K4 program is Wednesday and she needed some to wear with her jeans...After a long afternoon-we went to the Braves game.it was fun..we got to sit up in a box seat ( a rep for Miskellys invited us) the kids had a great time..
then we woke up early Saturday, Bert went to work and Harper and I went to Brandon for baseball..he got invited to play on a tournament team..so I was at the park from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm..I had to leave (Harper was still playing and went home with a friend)...he did SO GOOD! I am so proud of him..it was so good for him to have the experience of playing with GOOD players..And I mean GOOD players..but he did AWESOME...I got a base hit EVERY time! That night was ANnellise's dance recital and she was so precious! she did SO GOOD TOO! I am so proud of both my children..I am a lucky mother to have such wonderful children- God truly blessed me..they are so much fun the older they get and it is so wonderful to watch them use their talents and abilites that God gave them! They both are very artistic and love sports and to be outside ( that is something that they did NOT get from their mother---I hated to go outside!)
Sunday we skipped church---we were worn out and my back was killing me--they kids slept until 10 am --then back to the baseball field in Brandon..they one the first game and got to play for the championship---they lost but got 2nd place in the tournament and he got a trophy---we went to Wal mart after and then home--I took 209 picture from Friday until Sunday--I will only post my favorites but there are so many good ones...Its Monday and it just starts all over--I worked today and I will work tommorrow and then I will be off---tonight Harper had bball practice and Bert had a bball game ( he is playing in thechurch league) , tommorrow bball practice again, Wednesday is Annellise's play, Thursday is Harper's game and Saturday Bert is off annd we are going to a wedding..so I have another busy week again---next weekend we are going to Memphis for Presley's 1st Birthday---we cant wait for that...I cant wait to get some Presley love--ha! Well its 8:45 and I am ready for bed after I post some pics......

thank goodness its Wednesday and we have NOTHING to do tonight....Im not sure what we are going to do..we have been so busy lately...Its been a while since I have blogged and I am sorry its just that I havent had time...Annellise finally got well after I had to take her backto the Dr last Monday andthey changed her antibiotics....that whole day wasCRAZY...last Sunday night we took her to Hazlehurst so mom could keep her becausewe had to work Monday..At 3:30 Monday morning mom called and saidthat Nannie had fallen (mom just happened to be up trying to get Annellise's fever down and just went to check on Nannie and she wason the floor) so at 3:30 I jump up and drive to Hazlehurst...we go to the ER and Nannie is really hurt she has a broken and dislocated wrist and a pelvis fracture---(annellise is running fever and is in her robe in the ER, bless her heart) so needless to say about 7:30 am we drive back to Byram and go to sleep---Nannie is better, she got her arm put back in place and the dr said her pelvis will heal on its ownbutshe will be very sore and it will take time...she is in the "swing bed" part of the hospital in Hazlehurst and will be there for a couple of weeks--she cant stand and cant use her wrist yet ( she uses a walker) Annellise finally got better and went back to school last Wedesday and then we had a couple of days with Harper running fever..we had a few games last week...Saturday Bert was off and it was a miserable rainy day-Annellise had agame at 10:30 andwe sat under umbrellas and Harper had a game at 2:30 and we sat under umbrellasfor that game too..in between we went to this hamburger place called Magestic Hamburgers, it was really good--their sweetpotato fries were the BEST.....then Sundaywe had my cousin Lindsey's baby shower at my house..we had a lot of fun and shegot lots of cute "not pink" things..( she doesnt like pink and she is having a girl..ha..) we were so excited that my cousin Nichole got to come so she had her "unificial" baby shower too ( herbaby Marley cameearly and we didnt get to have her shower) and my cousin Ashley had baby Caroline in Monday ( Ashley's birthday) lots of little girls.......it makes me want one---does anyone want to donate your uterus to the Bell family? ha....
Tommorrow night we have Harper's bball game and Friday is Field Day at school ( I will post pictures) and then we are going to the Bravesgames Friday night...Saturday Annellise hasdance practice, bball pictures, a bball game, and her dance recital that night.....I willpost lots ofpics after this weekend...well Im at work and its now time to go home.....yeah!

Poor baby! she came home yesterday with fever of 102 and woke up this morning with fever of 103.6 ...she was so pitiful! Bert took her to the doctor this morning and she has a severe sinus like infection..her throat is really red and she has puss pockets in the back of her nose..I have never heard of this and it really sounds gross so I am sure she feels really bad..I am at work and just waiting for the time to go home...We are going to be shut up all this weekend it looks like. Annellise has a baseball game tommorrow that she is going to miss and we all really wanted to go to Paytons game tommorrow too...Oh well, Anyway not much else going on...my cousin Nichole had her 1st baby on Sunday..she was 6 weeks early ( Nichole's water broke at her baby shower in Alabama and she lives in Hattiesburg) Little Marley had a little trouble breathing and had to stay in NICU then they found out she had a problem where her esophagus and stomach didnt connect so she was rushed to University her in Jackson and had surgery today and she did fine...in fact she should go home next week...she is so precious..her family baby shower was suppose to be on Sunday so I guess now they will reschedule it..anyway I better go home now..it 4:30

Baseball and Cancer Walk!

It has finally started--Baseball! yeah! Last weekend both games got rained out so they were ready this weekend..Harper played Thursday night and did so good! I am so proud of him..I wasnt sure how he would do not being with his friends from last year but he has been fine. Annellise had a game Friday night, Harper spent the night with Russell so we just had her with us..after the game we went with Alli and her family to eat at Mcalisters...This morning we woke up early and went to walk in the kids Race for the Cure Cancer walk...the kids got tshirts and I had made signs for their backs that said " I am walking in memory of my Grandmama Farilyn Bell" they were so cute and I think they had fun walking/running---it was for a good cause anyway! Then off to the Baseball field for Annellise's game at 11:15 and Harper's game at 1:00...needless to say I am worn out and I still have clothes to wash and iron..Maybe they will go to bed early since we have been nonstop all day...I cant believe we had no birthday parties this weekend..I think its the first time in a long time.....I am so happy that you finally got a blog Erin! yeah!

Its been a long time since I have written--we have been pretty busy..baseball and little sweeties has started and we practice 2 times a week and Harper has started Trac Kids which is like a "boot camp" for kids...he seems to like it which I dont understand..who would want to run laps and get "exercise" on purpose----ha--- we have gotten 2 new things recently..a new basketball goal in the backyard..I really didnt think they would use it but my little Annellise LOVES it..I really think if she keeps it up she will be a good ball player, she is definately tall enough...when she woke up Saturday morning at 9 the first thing she wanted to do was go outside and play basketball...we also got a Go Cart..it is so much fun! Bert got it Friday and they rode it around the neighborhood and yesterday we went to Hazlehurst and rode and rode on mom and dads yard..they had the best time..even Caki drove it! We have gone to so many parties lately and this Saturday Annellise had a ballgame at 11:30, Harper has one at 1:00, then we have one birthday party at 2 , and another one at 4....I have no idea how we will get to everything and on Friday they have no school and we have a birthday party to go to at 4 and another one at 5:30...luckily they are right down the street from each other...Annellise went to a party on Saturday too at Pump it up...it seems like that is all we do on the weekends and now we have ballgames to add into the mix...its just me to because Bert works every Saturday but 1 each month...speaking of his work, we went out to eat at Shapleys on Saturday night with the Miskelly people..it was lots of fun and good food, especially the Lemon Ice Box pie....I better go, I need to paint a bullatin board for a gift...there is always something that needs to be done..I dont think it iever ends..ha.,.......

Another egg hunt at school

today we had Harper's Easter egg hunt..it was fun too, I was surprised at how excited 2nd graders still were to hunt eggs..that age is so cute...SO different from the 1st graders I helped with earlier in the week..After school ( it was a half day) we went with Harper's 2 best friends Russell and Jack Henry and Russell's mom Alice to BackYard Burger..the kids had so much fun playing on the "playground" its funny that it is in Byram and we have never eaten there inside, the playground is SO nice and CLEAN! we will definatly be going back. Harper went home with Russell to spend the night so its just the girls this afternoon...So far all we've done is clean and wash clothes ( well I have and she has played Polly Pockets and watched the Disney Channel....I want to brag on my little Harper for a minutep-today at school his teacher Mrs. Engels pulled me aside and told me how much she has enjoyed Harper and told me that Harper is a "very special child to her and she will never forget him and that it has meant so much to have him in her class" I thought that was the sweetest thing and it almost made me cry--of course you always think your child is wonderful but it really means something that the person that spends most of their week with him thinks so too......my Harper is so sweet and I thank God that he gave him to me to raise...what a wonderful '"job" that is! ( I also think that about my little sweet pea too)!

Egg Hunt!

Today was Annellise's class egg hunt..it was lots of fun..we started at 8:30 this morning and have been going all day..they had a jumping thing, played games like carry the egg in the spoon race, bean bag toss, sack races, and they decorated eggs ...after that we hunted eggs and ate a little snack before getting back in the jumping thing...I was so mad because I got there and my battery on my camera was DEAD! I was so mad..I kept going in the girls house and plugging up my charger and charging some juice and would go back and take a few pictures then go back and charge again.....not fun! I really do need to buy a back up battery.....Annellise also had dancing and baseball practice today too...she was sound asleep by 8:30....Harper has his egg hunt and party tommorrow ( if its not raining, right now it is thundering and raining a little) He had baseball practice tonight too..thank goodness Bert was off so I could get them there at both places at the same time..( Bert took him and I took Annellise)
Today was a sad day...we put my sweet Max to sleep...he had just gotten so CRAZY! last night he started screaming ( it scared us all to death!) because he got lost and was behind my chair in the living room and couldnt get out...then he wouldnt leave my room this morning, he was facing my nightstand and couldnt figure out what to do..he also just lost his bladder for no reason in the middle of the floor when I was trying to let him out to go to the bathroom. It was like he was completely blind and lost his way and was so scared! Bert called the vet and he said that he was more than likely blind...We just couldnt see him that way..it was both breaking my heart and making me mad ( the not minding me and peeing all over the floor and his bed and I have to clean it up 99% of the time) It was just time for him to go...we loved our Max ( he was our first baby, we got him 1 month after we got married when we were in Texas) I will miss him!.....

Its Baseball Time!

Yeah, baseball is here! We love baseball---Harper had practice last Thurs night and has it again tommorrow night after baseball camp and on Thursday..Annellise will meet her team and practice on Thurs night too...Her little outfit is going to be so cute, they wear little tshirts and shorts with socks and matching sunvisors..they look so cute ( she is on the "sweeties" team that is all girls) before she has had boys on her team..tonight we got out her stuff and checked her PINK bat, PINK glove, and PINK helmet..(do you notice something) ha.....we had to take some of her stickers off her helmet ( that is the COOL thing to do is decorate your helmet with stickers) because they were "babyish" she is not into the princess stuff anymore--its all Hanna Montana and "big girl" things...we even had to get her batting gloves ready (last year she could care less about them but now that Harper has his she wants to use hers)----they are so cute and make me laugh...especially that Annellise..she just cracks me up----we have a busy week ahead...on Tuesday Annellise (K4) is going on a "field trip" to play and eat at Mcdonalds---FUN! and they get to ride the "school bus"..now to us this is no big deal but to them it is the best thing ever..HA.....then on Thursday Annellise (K4) has their Easter Egg hunt, then dance practice, then baseball practice..on Friday they only go a half day and Harper has his Easter party and egg hunt..then SPRING BREAK! they are off until the Tuesday after Easter....the bad thing is it lasnd on my week to work....so that means they go to daycare or moms, not here with their mamma...boohoo! I will post egg hunt pictures this week...

were has the time gone? its hard to believe that time really does change next weekend....doesnt it seem early? I will never get the kids to come in now...they love to play outside when they get home from school...they fight all the time but couldnt stand not to be with each other..I just dont understand it...I cant believe its been so long since my last post...we have been really busy with school and baseball practice each week..the real baseball will start probobly in the next few weeks with Harper and Annellise..but I love this time of year and I love going to their games..this year Annellise is on the "little sweeties" which means all girls..I cant wait and Harper's little group get better and better ezch year..I hope this camp he has been going to has helped...we go again tommorrow night..it my turn to take so all the boys will be coming home with me...FUN! Annellise loves it because she is BOY CRAZY--especially Harper's friends..she wont leave them alone..its really funny...We went to the ballet Saturday night..it was lots of fun--it was Cinderella and Annellise LOVED it...mom went with us and I think she liked it too..Annellise and her talked the entire time, Annellise kept telling her what was going to happen next ( like mom didnt know..Ha) Harper didnt really enjoy it, he was Bored! I was a little bored too...we went to Mcalisters afterwards... As I showed in the pictures a week ago Annellise had her first playdate..it was lots of fun..Annellise was so good, I was a little worried about her sharing but she did great...I am trying to think about what all I have not blogged about...We flew kites on Sunday and mom and Harper worked on his big project that he made a 100 on ! yeah!
I go back to work on Wednesday..this is starting my "all gray" clothing now...All of Radiology has to wear gray..its so ugly...every department is now assigned a color to wear and ours is gray...yuck! I cant think of much else..we are planning on going to Memphis this weekend..I hope its pretty so we can go to the zoo and the IMAX theater (I love going there) and maybe do a little shopping!

Its Presidents day and no school! yeah! it is a beautiful day and after a few errands this morning ( we all woke up after 10) the kids spent a few hours outside with the puppies and each other and didnt kill each other! ha....now Harper is playing his video game and Annelllise is playing with her Polly Pockets---I did a lot of cleaning in her room this weekend..I put everything in plastic containers to keep it all together and put all her Barbie stuff together--I love Barbies and I am so glad she is playing with them now..( I love to change their clothes HA) she wants Barbie stuff and new Polly Pockets for Easter so that should be easy...Harper is always easy just some form of video game...Harper and I got to spend some quality time this weekend..on Friday after picking the kids up from school we drove to Hazlehurst to let Annellise spend the night with Caki and Pop and Harper and Russell were so excited to play in their yard but it started raining and I did not want Harper to get sick again ( he has been sick off and on for the past 3 weeks) so Russell spent the night and Saturday morning I drove the boys to Raymond for a birthday party and picked them up a few hours later at the Childrens museum in Jackson and off to another birthday party at the Performance Sports studeo in Jackson..they had a lot of fun playing football and eating cake.....I was worn out..I had been on the go since that morning taking them here and there..after the party Harper and I went shopping at Target and another "girl store" bless his heart he hated that! then I came home and tackled Annellise's closet..luckily she wasnt here when I started because when she got here she kept pulling stuff back out of the garbage bags Ha! ( I filled up 2 big black ones) on Sunday after church, Caki came over and helped Harper finish his project for school It looks great and he did such a great job! THanks Caki for helping him! ( One of his days he stayed at Caki's house when he was sick they started it and she wanted to help him finish) Bert and Annellise had gone to Sams and bought them each a kite..they had lots of fun flying them and it was perfect windy weather...All in all we had a great weekend ....Tommorrow back to school and then Annellise is having her first "play date" her friend Olivia is coming over for a few hours to play in the morning and then at 2:40 when I pick up Harper his 2 friends Hayden and Kade are coming home with him and then I am taking them to Baseball camp at 4:30 to 6 so I have a busy day tomorrow not to count I have to take them to school, go weight at Weight Watchers and get a haircut all before I pick up the girls at 11:40...say a little prayer for Bert, he is flying out to Houston at 6 in the morning and spending the day with the Miskelly people then flying back at 6 tomorrow night , so he will have a long and busy day too..( I think they are visiting some furniture company there?) anyway .....I am going to iron and fold clothes ....( I think that is ALL I ever do!)

Thats what Ive been feeling like---these birthday parties are wearing me out and it seems like the day after is not good for us---last time Harper woke up sick after his party and the week after he woke up last Sunday with the flu and today he woke up with fever AGAIN---Yesterday was Annellise's birthday party--we had so much fun--it was at the Cheer Academy and they had a HUGE blow up thing with a maze and 3 slides--it was HUGE--and the kids has a great time! they were sweating up a storm---Annellise got so many cute things and I have spent most of the day opening things and she has played with all of it---we didnt go to church due to Harper running fever and Annellise and I slept until 12:00--I cant believe she slept that long--she was SOO tired....Alli gave her a gift card to Toys R Us so last night off we went--she got a Troy barbie doll ( from High School Musical)--its really neat because you put his microphone up to it and he starts singing---I think it cool----I am so glad she is getting into Barbies because I LOVE to play Barbies and dress them up--I am so glad I had a girl..But I love little boys too because I am so excited about baseball starting up--Harper has to get well because we have paid for professional lessons that start on Tuedsay so I hope he doesnt miss it--I might just be a bad mother and give him some Motrin and still let him go----ha--is that bad? right now he is asleep in the living room so hopefully he will wake up feeling better--he shouldnt go to school tommorrow and he might not but he has missed SO much school...I wonder if you can relap with the flu? Im sure its because he got too hot yesterday...He was sweating up a storm..( that is so corny when you write that) anyway we were so glad that Presley came--she is the sweetest baby--I wished they lived closer so I could get some Presley love more often.....Well I need toget off this computer and put up clean clothes and find a place for all these toys---where in the world are they going to go? right now they are all in the computer room where she is allowed to play with them..ha...she has taken her Hanna Montana makeup that I just opened and disappeared so there is no telling what she is up to or what she now looks like---she keeps me on my toes at all times--I can hear her singing in here so she is up to something Im sure...ha.......

Flu (part 2)--we live in the sick house!

well, now Annellise has the flu...at the time she has 102 fever and its not even time to get medicine again and Harper is still running fever...My morning has been very tiresome but I have to say we all slept until 10..yeah for me! anyway, when we woke up Harper had no fever and Annellise had 103..I gave her meds and put her back to bed then...SHE THREW UP IN MY BED!!!!Yuck!! I do not like vomit..at all...I will walk out on a patient at the hosiptal if they are throwing up well I am the only one here right now and I had to clean it up..( how does Bert get so lucky?) thankfully it hasnt happened again but when knows if any of the meds she took were thrown up ( probobly)..The bad thing is she is so excited to go to school on Thursday for her birthday and we have ordered cupcakes to take so say a little prayer she gets to go....she will be so sad...I am tired of sick people and to top it all off Bert went to the dr and has an infection too.....I am not very sympothetic anymore and I have to go to work tomorrow with sick people...DOES IT EVER END? and to top it all off my dryer is messed up and the repairman cant get here until next Wednesday....If you know me you know how much this is killing me I wash and dry about 3 loads a day ( we use LOTS of clothes) and now all it does is pretty much steam dry them and it takes about 2 hrs..ha..so I have learned to wash small loads which makes it about 6 loads a day now and we have a new puppy that is not housebroken yet so she has to go out about every hour...... I NEED A DRINK!...just kidding.. I love my sweet children and hope they get well soon..and I would clean up their vomit any day!!!! And not to mention Harper and I did 2 hours of school work this am and we have about 2 hours left but I am tired and I dont want to do schoolwork anymore! ha.....tommorrow Bert is staying home with them..do you think he will be able to do all the schoolwork? Probobly not so that means I have to work all day and come home to at least 3 hours of schoolwork..yuck! The only thing that could top it all off is I will wake up with the flu......

Yes Harper has the flu...As I said earlier that I had to pick up Harper at school on Thurs due to a headache, well we have been waiting for the fever and it came on Sunday morning..I had gotten out of the shower yesterday morning getting ready for church and Harper told me he felt bad..he has been saying this since Thurs and I just assumed he didnt want to go to church...but no he had fever and by 11 am it was 101 degrees and it has been that ever since except at 2:00 am when it went up to 104 it scared me to death...they have never had fever that high..we put him in the shower and put ice on his head and about 30 minutes later after some motrin it went down to 102....so we were at the doctor at 8:30 this morning....Alli was at MEA and we went through the back door..( it amazed me that the parking lot was full at 9 when they opened)...anyway Alli did a flu test on him ( which he DID NOT like, they swab your nose) --it usually takes 10 min for results but his came back positive in 30 seconds....So now we are all being treated for the flu and poor Annellise ( they HATE any medicine that is white and chalky and guess what Tamaflu is and she has to take it and she doesnt even have the flu--I feel so bad) We all have to be treated and the medicine cost 35.00 each--so multiply that x4 --its crazy!!!! Harper is going to be home most of the week ( the dr said all week if he still has fever) the bad thing is we have to do schoolwork that he is missing and its A LOT....I feel like I am a teacher and that is like PUNISHMENT to me---to me that is the last job on my list of jobs--ha---Anyway..say a little prayer that no one else gets it and I can get my children to take the ucky medicine 2 times a day--that is PUNISHMENT for me to...the things you do for your children! Ha!----( Harper was so sad he missed the end of the Super Bowl last night--poor thing was so sick he fell asleep watching it with Bert and he was a big Patriots fan!!)

Gosh, this last week has flown by...Harper turned 8 years old, we had a birthday party, Annellise was sick, Harper got sent to the principle's office , we had birthday parties to go to for Harper's friends, Harper got sick and had to come home from school, and today we went on a field trip----I am worn out...Ok let me begin with Annellise, she got sick last Wed..she woke up with 101 fever and coughing up a storm, of course it was on the day I was to go back to work ( I had been off for a week...ha) so Bert and I took turns that day. I stayed home on the morning shift and Bert took the afternnon shift. He took her to the Dr. and we had the "fever virus" I HATE when they tell you that..it just means that they dont know...Mom kept her THurs and she wanted to go back to school on Friday..we went to a birthday party on Saturday for one of Harper's friends and his big party was on Sunday..we had so much fun! 21 of his friends came and lots of adults...Every piece of the cake was GONE!!! he got so much stuff but lots of kids gave him gift cards and money so he bought himself an I Pod Nano ( I think that is what its called) he can download movies too and songs...He LOVES it..I never would have thought he would enjoy that....then on Monday I get there to pick him up and find out he was sent to the principle's office for talking ugly on the playground..It was 4 little boys and they told her they didnt say anything bad, one little boy said he said "crud" and "crap"...that is the extent of the bad language...now I might be a little crazy but I really dont think those are horrible words that get you sent to the office and Harper didnt even say them he was just there by association...so Bert was FURIOUS! the main reason was it was a she said he said sort of thing...the principle was believing a little girl and not the boys who told her about the 2 words I said above...Harper was crying saying that she would not believe him and he told the truth..Bert called the next morning and talked to Mrs. Brown ( the principle) and she said she was sorry and she handled it wrong...she even wrote us a letter...so on to the rest of the week..on Tues. it was Harper's real birthday so we went to eat..there is a new place called "Gatti Town" and we went there...it is lots of fun, pizza buffet and then a HUGE gameroom with LOTS of games..we has fun! On Thursday the school called and said Harper was complainin of a headache, they gave him meds but it got worse and we ended up going to get him..We did go to Wal Mart and eat at Ruby Tuesdays that night though..ha...so today we went on a field trip to see " Lilly's purple plastic purse" and it was soo cute! Annellise would have loved it....It was a New Stage and the actors were so cute especially the girl who played "Lilly" ---Hillcrest 2nd grade had made little purple purses and they were on display at the play...we then went to Gatti Town again and had lots of fun...8 year old boys are so funny and I had a lot of fun with them in the car with me ( I was a driver)...they are so cute and still so loving...Harper laid his head on my arm and held my hand during the play..I wonder how long that will last? I will miss it so much when he thinks he is "TOO BIG" to hold my hand...I just love him so much and cant believe he is 8 years old..Its hard to believe its been 8 years since I had him, it seems like yesterday..and my "little sweet pea" will be 5 next week...so we will be doing another birthday party next weekend..hers is at the Cheer Academy and they have a trampoline, jumping things, and a rock climbing wall..lots of fun and running around..they will sleep really good that night..ha....OH, Harper lost another tooth this week too..he has no teeth in the front bless his heart...

It has been a long time since I have written....I have been busy I guess--we are getting ready for both birthday parties..I made all the goodie bags for the parties and Valentines last night, I am glad that is out of the way..I start my shift tommorrow and I wouldnt have time..Can you believe we got another dog? I cant but I have to say she is so sweet and cute and LITTLE..I had forgotten how little Bella was..Annellise makes me nervous because she is so rough with Bella and does whatever she wants to her...( remember the ponytail hilders on her ears and pushing her in the stroller..I am just so scared she will step on Molly---Harper promised that if we got him a dog he would take care of it and would start sleeping in his own bed and guess what...He Did!!!! I am so proud of him and little Molly slept on the floor in her little purse-carrier.....I love taking her around in that cute carrier--its hot pink and black toile and is so me...ha....
Anyway Terri and Makenna came to see us the other night--I am so glad and the girls had so much fun playing...If you are reading this Terri come back anytime so they can play..and we can visit!...Bert stayed gone most of the week last week hunting..and he came home Saturday night to take Harper to a birthday party and to go to church and then off again, but he took Harper this time...Harper was so excited! Harper must have done lots of begging because when they came back we were talking about getting the dog....I need to learn Harper's little tricks to make Bert buy him things..ha......well I better go, its time to pick up Harper at school....

Its Saturday and we have done hardly anything today..Bert and I are going to a movie tonight, I m excited because we never got to go to a movie without the kids..Harper is spending the night with his friend Hayden and Annellise is going to Alli's house to play..Annellise have just been doing girly things..we painted our toenails and changed Abby ( Annellise's doll) into her church clothes for tommorrow..I also ironed for the next few days..I realized that I ironed 12 outfits just for Sunday..4 for church, 4 for afternoon relaxing, and 4 more for church tommorrow night...isnt that CRAZY....we go through A LOT of clothes and I have to wash and put up all the clothes and iron them....I have to iron EVERYTHING, I cant stand to have clothes that are wrinkled...ONly 2 more days to work this week and I am so excited...I look forward to my days off each week...For some reason some people at work want me to work on my days off---are they CRAZY.....I hate to work...why would I want to work more? If they were in my situation they wouldnt want to work either...
Harper has been grounded this week..he had a c on his report card for the 9 weeks in Phonics and Reading...so he cant play his DS or his X box or his playstation...it has just about killed him but he is doing better than I thought...I thought he would throw a fit and beg and cry each day but he hasnt..he does ask each night but usually just walks away when I say no...Bert is going hunting starting Wednesday and will come home Saturday night and go back Sunday after church..he is taking Harper on Sunday because they dont have school for some reason..its Martin Luther King day but they go to a private school so I have no idea what the reason is....Anyway I wonder what Annellise and I will do ...Mom is coming and spending Friday night and keep Annellise on Saturday,..Harper has a birthday party to go to on Saturday and she really doesnt need to go...( she just runs around and chases all of Harper's friends) I am going to have such a time with her when she gets to be a teenager...she will be after all his friends....
Today we have had the Disney channell on all day and I am so tired of watching it---I really think I have seen all the Hanna Montana and Suite Life of Zach and Cody episodes that there are...ha.......
Harper has a tooth that is just hanging on and it is driving me crazy...if I wasnt scared to death of teeth pulling I would do it myself but it freaks me out!!! I cant stand to see that tooth....its just hanging and its the front tooth....Someone come and pull it!! Anyway I better go and watch some more Hanna Montana..ha....Terri and Makenna are coming over to play in a few minutes...ANnellise will love that!

That is what I have asked myself over and over....I still havent put up all the Christmas stuff...I have every intention to put up the BIG tree on Tuesday..Bert has to work so I will get Harper and Annellise to help..We had to go on and take down the real tree, it was DEAD and made A BIG mess..Annellise and I went to Wal Mart after church because I needed a plastic container to put coloring books in.. I cleaned out the art corner in our kitchen and threw away a very large black garbage bag full..the kids were outside with Bert so they had no idea..ha....Annellise got a new art table and art stuff so I had to make room for that..I also needed new throw pillows for my couch, we got a new rug and it has no burgandy in it so I HAD to get new pillows to match...I also did a little rearranging in the loving room...so actually I did get something done..Mom and Dad are keeping all the grandchildren tommorrow night and Bert, Alli, and Kyle are going out on New Years Eve...I havent been out since I had children..does that make us old? We are going to Bone Fish and I love Bone Fish....I am sooo excited! Oh well now I have 2 birthday parties to plan for and Valentines Day..I love Valentines Day! it is probobly my favorite "holiday"

Christmas

Its hard to believe its almost 2008--this year has flown by..We had a wonderful Christmas holiday..On Sunday we woke up and went to mom and dads, we saw what "santa" brought us and ate a wonderful dinner..I was so excited to get some new luggage--yeah! since Bert and I married 10 years ago we have never had matching luggage, it was just a collection of the both of ours..my new luggage is red and black and I LOVE IT----thanks mom and dad.....Annellise got an American girl doll that looks like her, she has little freckles and is so cute..I have to get ready now and change the dolls clothes in addition to the kids..ha....The kids got some new clothes too..Harper got a MP3 player and LOVES it...when we went to Raanne's house on Monday, Trevor downloaded lots of songs for him, he thinks he is soo cool..ha
On Monday we left early that morning and went to the Delta..we stopped by Inverness and saw grandaddy Bell and then we went to Skene to visit Grandma Mable and Billy---then on to Cleveland..We had a wonderful meal and then spent to afternoon opening presents..we had a great time and had fun visiting and getting love from my sweet niece Presley...she is so sweet and is the Best baby....
When we got home the kids dressed in their Christmas pajamas (that Caki made) and sat on our bed and read the Christmas story in the Bible..I tried really hard this year to teach them the true meaning of Christmas....I want them to know that Christmas is really about the birth of Jesus..Bert and I are so lucky that we are able to send our children to a Christian school...I worry so much about what goes on in the world and I hope that we are doing everything we can to teach them right from wrong....We spent a lot of family time together last week...each night we watched TV together and I loved it! One night we watched The Nativity Story...it is so good and another night we all watched The Wizard of Oz ( I cant believe the kids had never watched it) ANyway, on Christmas morning we woke up at 7:30 and the kids were ready to go see what Santa brought...Harper got a Nintindo DS and a XBox, he also got some new games, Pokemon stuff and a new bike---Annellise got a "stage", dress up clothes, microphone, guitar, and lots of art supplies....Mom, Dad, and Nannie got here about 9:30 and we had a great breakfast..( Alli and her family were in Louisiana) we just sat around and relaxed and "played"...mom and Annellise made some jewelry and Harper played a game all day....I dont know who it is really for Bert or Harper..ha.....
We had a wonderful Christmas and look forward to a Happy New Year..I will miss our little "elf on the shelf" ( if youdont know the elf watches over you and makes sure you behave and leaves every night to talk to Santa, each morning the elf is in a different place in the house that you have to find) it is so much fun!

This weekend has flown by-Bert and Harper left Thursday and went hunting until Saturday--we then packed up and went to Hattiesburg for my cousin Jennifer's wedding--it was a Catholic wedding and was not sure if Harper and ANnellise would do good stitting still that long but they did great..They had a good time at the reception-well Annellise did..she danced and danced! Harper bless his heart hates dancing and wouldnt even dance with me--he asked if it was ok he didnt like it and I felt so bad for him because all the kids were dancing but him--I was shocked that Annellise didnt sleep all the way home or that her little legs didnt hurt--we got home at midnigh and slept in on Sunday--we did go to church last night to see the choir do their musical and it was good..today Annellise and I havent done much, just some laundry--tommorrow is herSanta breakfast at school and Wed Harper sings and puts on his program--They only have about a week left until Christmas break---Saturday is my 35 th birthday and Im not excited! it feels and sound sooo old!

Well Bert and Annellise are on their way to Memphis...Annellise was SO EXCITED!!! she has been counting the days..they left about 6:30 when Bert got off of work...I wondered how Annellise would actually do away from me, she hasnt ever gone on a trip alone with Bert..Well, they stopped in Grenada and Bert got some gas he looked in the window at Annellise and she was crying, when he asked her what was wrong she said she missed her mommy...Oh, that just breaks my heart...you have no idea how much I wish I was the one going with her..I think of anything she has ever wanted this is it....She is going to have sooo much fun...we got all her clothes ready the other night and you should see her outfit, mom bought her a gold Hannah Montana skirt that has buikt on leggings and a pink tshirt with Hanna Montanas picture and some gold on it..I had bought her some boots and Bert and I had bought her a denium jacket with a guitar and Hannah Montana on it and her name in gold...you should see my little "rock Star"...she is going to have Bert worn out because she will stand up the entire time and sing every song....anyway, I will post pictures and tell all about it when they get home..Right now Harper and I are in the bed..we are both tired but cant sleep until I know they made it to Erins....At school,the art teacher has done something so neat..you can look on the website and see all Harper's art work...In fact he won 2 weeks ago and had his art displayed for Veterans Day..He drew the Statue of Liberty and it was so good..his was chosen along with 5 others ( that is out of the entire elementary) I was so proud of him..He draws so well and I told him if he would actually draw at school like he does at home his art teacher would notice and I was right ( he usually draws football stuff or hunting stuff) I guess that is what most little boys do....I am looking forward to some days off--I worked most of last week and was on call since it was my holiday and I worked Tuesday and then had CPR for 5 hours and then my regular shift started on Wed and I will work until next Wednesday..I am worn out....Next week I am going on a field trip with Annellise, we are going to Canton and visit the museums and ride the train and carasel..it sound like lots of fun..then no school nect Friday ( I have no idea why) then we are off to Hattiesburg for my cousin Jennifers wedding ( it doesnt even start until 7:30 pm and its a catholic wedding) we are going to be so LATE...I cant even imagine what time the reception will be over..Anyway I will try and do better with my blogging..I have slacked off some since I have been so busy...Anyway look at Harpers art , its www.artsonia.com --his ID # is 2113629 and he is Harper18....let me know if you have trouble getting it and you can join his Fan Mail--ha---

Our Cruise!

Ok, sorry its taken so long to write about our cruise..we had a great time..We left on Sunday morning and went to New Orleans and went to a Saints football game...it was a lot of fun..the food was terrible and we sat at the top of the Super Dome but it was fun, I am not sure if I would love to go back again but Harper would love it.... we then went to check in our hotel ( the Ritz-Carlton) it was so fancy, our room wasnt ready so we walked down Canal Street and did a little shopping...After showers and relaxing a little we had dinner at the hotel.
The next morning we got up and had breakfast. WE walked around Riverwalk and did some Christmas shopping....then off to the cruise ship.....It was so big! I thought it would be much harder to check in than it was but it was EASY! we were VIP and went straight to check in and had our first cruise picture made....(I loved the cruise pictures---I was a sucker and wanted every picture we took..they had different backgrounds and photographers--some made us look like we were getting prom pictures made..ha) We got to our room and it was so cute and big! I couldnt wait to walk around the boat...We had a balcony off our room and it was fun sitting and watching the water....We got dressed up each night and had dinner in the dining room, we liked all the people at our table...they were all from Louisiana.....One of our stops was in Progresso and there really wasnt much to do..Bert and I couldnt do any excursions due to back problems so we did a little shopping and went back to the boat, Bert took a nap and I laid on the balcony by the pool and read a book. I got wind burned because it was so windy. The next day we went to Cozamel, it was lots of fun...we did lots of shopping...I got a new wedding band set...it is beautiful--- a 1 1/2 carot pear shaped diamond on a band that is completely covered in little diamonds and another matching band...I love it!!! We spent all day just walking around and relaxing......By day 4, we were missing the children...it was a long time being away..especially since Harper got sick the day we left and had to go to the doctor......All in all we had a great time but I think next time I would like to go with another couple or with Harper and Annellise....Here are some of the pictures----Hope you like them!

Halloween!

Its been so long since I have checked in..we have been so busy..last weekend we had 2 Halloween parties, Erin and Presley came to visit, I worked all week,went to the pain management dr, finally did some Christmas shopping, Halloween, and our anniversary and Iforgot fall festival day at school......Ok, first our visit with Erin and Presley...she is sooo sweet and a great baby...I had so much fun getting my baby love...Price and Payton came over and Price and Presley "played" with each other.....I went to the dr. we are going to try medicine because I cant have a pain pump because I am fused all the way down and he couldnt get to my cord to insert it, I had a hard time when he told me, ( I guess I was holding out hope that it would be my "answer") he looked under fluoro at my back and said that if anyone ever questions how bad my back is to ask him...that made me feel better that he was "on my side"..so hopefully we can controll my pain with meds....Anyway back to the kids, we had a great day at fall festival the kindergarten had lots of games and fun..I had both Payton and Annellise and we had a great time, it just so happened to be on the last Friday of the month and that is a day parents can eat lunch with their kids so Annellise and Payton and I got to eat lunch with Harper...(Annellise and Payton were in heaven because they were in the cafeteria with the "big kids" ha...) they were even cuter because they were dressed as scarecrows...ha...
Lets see then we had our Halloween parties...Annellise was a mermaid and Harper was a Saints football player, we had a great time..it was good we had something to do because we had no water from about 2 that afternoon till about 11 that night..the next morning we had soccer and football games....Then on Sunday we went to church then went to Paytons birthday party...it was a beautiful day (it was ouside) the kids were dressed in Hallooween costumes and had a hayride and played...Annellise was Minnie Mouse and Harper was a Saints player again
On Wednesday, Halloween, we had the trailer and hay ready, and the kids all piled up for trick or treating....Annellise was Scarlett OHara and Harper was a Mississippi State Football player ( do you see the football thing goin on ha) Harper's best friend Russell and his brother Jake came and went too, so did Payton and Price...Dad and Nannie gave out candy while Kyle cooked our chilli...after trick or treating it sure is fun to come back and eat good chiili..thanks Kyle!
Our anniversary was Thursday the 1st..10 years! Yeah!----I let Bert go to a Ducks Unlimited banquet because we will celebrate next week on our CRUISE...last night we went to the movie to see American Gangster---it was great! then today we had our last soccer and football game...Tommorrow is church and then we are taking mom and dad to eat for their early birthday (since we will be gone on the 12th) then church again....this week is going to be crazy too so who knows when I will check back in...We have soccer and football awards night Monday and its Berts birthday!, Tuesday its work and to Mazzios with Harpers football team, then Wed and Thurs the kids sing at school for the big Christmas gala this week...Saturday we are going to eat breakfast with Santa, a birthday party , and then back to the school for an adult only party! then its off to NEW ORLEANS..we are going to the Saints game on Sunday, eat fancy that night, benighs(sp) in the French Quarter on Monday morning and then board our boat!!!yeah!!

gosh, I cant believe its been a week since I wrote...we have been busy with school and it was my time to work again---It just wears me out...Harper and Annellise are great, they keep me laughing all the time--Harper's new word is sweet and he says it to anything that is great--Annellise just says and does the funniest things..I found coloring sheets she had torn out of a Barbie coloring book that I had colored in her backpack and when I asked her why she took my coloring sheets to school she said " I just wanted Mrs. Rutland (her teacher) to see how good my mommy can color"..ha...I bet Mrs. Rutland loved that.....and the other night we were saying her prayers and I was holding her hand and she said to me " could you just give my hand a little break, I have been holding hands at school all day and my hands are really tired" where does she get this stuff...ha...we were at Michaels on Saturday and I showed her the cake decorating kit that is a princess castle and she pushed me back and said "shut up!" it was so funny and she didnt even realize she said something so funny......Saturday after the football and soccer games Bert took Harper and his best friend Russell to deer camp and they had so much fun..we went to church Sunday and Mexican for lunch (of course)! We then went to Best Buy and bought us a new digital camera for our trip...its almost here!....Bert got us Saints tickets for that Sunday and I am so excited! I have never been to a "big" football game ..Harper is jealous and really wants to go..he will have to go next time...I am going to see a pain management doctor on Thursday so maybe he can give me some good news, I have had some problems with my heart this last week, I had to go to the Dr. last Wed after work...I just had lots of fast palpatations--the doctor thought it was stress ( i cant imagine why!) I had an EKG and it was OK..I was scheduled to get a holter monotor tommorrow but it has gotten better they changed one of my meds and it seems to have helped...anyway what else can go wrong?
My poor children had to wear shorts and short sleeved shirts to school today and it was freezing today---this morning I put on Annellise's long sleeved shirt and the sleeves came up to her elbow and Harper's pants are above his ankles.....my children have GROWN so much since the summer..Bert went to the uniform place today to get new clothes and he had to leave because there were about 20 people in line..I guess everyone was shocked by the fast weather change and was not prepared like me...ha...anyway I am going to order it on the internet right now...
Erin and Presley are coing tommorrow and are spending the night..I am so excited to see baby Presley I didnt get to see her at grandaddy's birthday.....I can use my new camera and take some pictures to post yeah!...

Yesterday I went to a baby shower and Bert was left with the kids..It was beautiful outside so I think they spent most of the day outside...Anyway Bert took Harper's training wheels off his bike and he practiced a few times in our back yard (which has just a little slab of concrete)...so today the kids had no school and after a fun trip to the dentist ( no cavities by the way) we decided to go outside because today was beautiful too...I mentioned going in the street in front of the house to ride bikes and I figured I would be spotting Harper and helping him get started after falling a few times but guess what.....My child jumped on that bike and off he went...I WAS AMAZED! he needed NO help and he was even doing tricks like taking his feet off the petals....Annellise always needs help getting started but she jumped on and needed NO help.....I was shocked...My babies are not babies, it makes me so sad! I still cannot believed that he started riding a bike with no training wheels on the first try , he rode and rode for about 45 minutes and little sweet pea was right behind him....they are sooo cute!
On another note our church is doing something different this year, instead of an angel tree you get a shoe box and choose an age and girl or boy and you buy little goodies to fill the box..we went to the dollar tree and the children and I had so much fun filling their little boxes ( Annellise is so concerned that children dont have money and sometimes dont get Christmas presents)--I think she was too young last year to really understand..Anyway it was good for them to do something for other children...They got to choose a little happy for going to the dentist..and Annellise chose Princess tatoos that you put on with little stencils and glitter pens...She was so excited because it was finally a pen she could write on herself with...HA...you should see my hands and even Harper was sweet and let her tatoo him..ha.....If you have read my other post you will understand how much she likes to write ( on herself and anything and everythng..HA)

Today the kids were out of school and are out on Monday too..its fall break....Yeah! We havent done much today my back has hurt all day..I didnt sleeo well due to pain and not getting comfortable last night... We are getting ready to go to the Hillcrest football game...Its cool outside so it should be real football weather...There is not much to post..Harper and Annellise are doing great..Harper has good grades and Annellise is writing all the time. I am so glad that she enjoys to learn..I sometimes worry about her schooling...School comes pretty easy for Harper if he brings home the correct books..HA....Everything is starting to get busy, it is hard to believe that Christmas is only 2 months away...Im going crazy, I am usually done with ALL my shopping and I have done hardly any...having surery and getting sick has put everything on hold...Bert and I go on our cruise in 4 wks, I am getting excited and nervous...We have never been away from Harper and Annellise that long or with out them....It is only 2 wks until Halloween--Harper is a Mississippi State football player (yuck!) and Annellise is Scarlett OHara ---she is so cute in her costume....We will load up the trailer with hay and Bert will pull us with the mule to go trick a treating...I LOVE HALLOWEEN.....The grownups sit on the trailer and the kids run around from house to house then we come back to our house and eat homeade chilli...Dad sits on the front porch with Nannie and gives out candy and Kyle usually makes our good chiili......It is SOO much fun..we have so many trick-a-treaters ...we run our of candy after about 1 hr...It seems like all of Byram comes to our neighborhood....They are having a fall festival at the church on Halloween night too, so we will probobly go there first before here...well I have to go we are leaving..

Last night Bert and I took the kids to the Hillcrest football game.We were brave and took 4 kids. Russell spent the night with Harper and we took Payton too..The kids have so much fun..they run around and chase each other, play football, and roll down the hill..They only come check in about every 15 minutes for food and a drink...They were so good..Annellise even got to go out on the track and cheer with the cheerleaders for the 2nd quarter...she was in heaven...This morning we were up at 7:30.. Annellise went with Alli and had her soccer pictures made and watched Payton play soccer..Bert and I took Harper and Russell to their football game at 9:00..My little Harper is so good..I am just amazed! I know I am bragging but he is awesome...He caught a pass and scored a touchdown and got best off. player today....After the football game we headed over to Annellise's game...she did great also, but she is sometimes a little scared to go after the ball, she doesnt want to hurt someones feelings by taking the ball....She scored a goal though ...Yeah Annellise and Harper...then Harper went with Allison and her family to Hattiesburg (its Mamaws birthday) and they are having a party for her...I am worn out and still have a hard time riding in a car because I still cant stand pressing my back up against something.....so Annellise and I went to another birthday party...This was Sydneys and it was so much fun, they made their own pizza and cupcakes...it was a cute party! but HOT...I have been outside since 8:50 and let me tell you , ITS HOT!!! I got blistered!.....Tonight Bert is taking Annellise and I on a date ( really we dont have a babysitter..HA) we are going to Shapley's, they have nothing for her to eat so we are going to sneek a lunchable..HA....
2 more days and I get my stitches out! Yeah!...one fell out yesterday, Im not sure how but I hope its Ok....I just have to pray that I make it through this week with no fever...I get stitches out Monday so that means my little holes will scab over and that will determine if my staff is gone.....Last time I was draining from my insision on Monday, its scabbed over on Tues, and Wed I started running fever and Fri I had surgery....Im just a little worried because I am still draining from my insision so we will see......Tommorrow I need to do laundry, I just havent been in the mood....My little Annellise got in trouble yesterday and got her little mouth washed out with soap---it was so sad, but she lied and then lied again because she got her story mixed up...for some reason she told a teacher it was her birthday....where does she get this from? She also was running around outside before school greeting all her friends....she is suppose to stay inside once Bert drops her off and she got caught by Allison....ha...As I have said before, she only goes to school to socialize....HA....I am going to have my hands FULL when she is a teenager....Luckily in the last few days I havent found her name on any furniture or walls..HA....Harper and his friend Russell were caught by Bert throwing and stomping on of Annellise's good baby dolls in the mud and said Annellise said they could...(the bad thing is she probobly did- anything to get some attention from sweet Russell) she loves all boys, especially Harper's friends..HA.....I love my sweet children and I am proud that they have already given me some gray hair..ha....Tommorrow is church, Mexican for lunch Im sure, and a birthday party for Harper's best friend Russell, then back to church again.....

My Little Annellise

Where do I begin...Annellise has been learning to write her name at school...she is doing great! BUT she practices EVERYWHERE and when I say everywhere I mean everywhere....I have found her name on her wall in her bedroom, on the side of her new dresser, on the nightstand (but on it she pressed down as hard as she could so it is indented into the table and will not come off...even with that wonderful "magic eraser") She also likes to put lipstick on her carpet, chew up pens so the ink goes all over her clothes, face, and bed..She also cut her hair (in the front right above her ear on the left side) it looks reallyfunny...On top of that she smart mouthes Bert and I and tells some little lies....she also plays dress up and instead of putting up her clothes she piles them in the corner, hides them in the closet in the back, and stuffs them under her bed....What am I going to do with her? If you punish her she doesnt seem to mind, she just thinks she can do whatever she wants...Are all little girls at age 4 like this? I am going to have my hands FULL as she gets older.....I guess mom was right when she said " just wait until you have a little girl" everytime I did something and got in trouble..I guess this is my payback..HA..
But you cant help but love my sweet little Annellise she is so sweet and tells you she loves you all the time... I love that little girl so much! I am so glad God gave me my children to raise...Harper is so much fun these days..He is finally doing so good with bringing his homework home now....He is going to his best friend Russell's bday party Sunday and Saturday we have a soccer game, pictures, football game and another bday party for Annellise to go to.....They keep me so busy....Anyway, my back is still hurting pretty bad...I am getting so nervous if this staff infection is going to come back because Its almost time for our cruise! Yeah!....

Well this week is finally over...My back is still hurting pretty bad. Where my stiches are is very tender and my insision is still draining..My dr is off all week so lets just pray nothing happens...I get my stitches out Monday the 8th..they are hurting me so bad because they are pulling my skin very tight..Yesterday I probobly did too much..Harper had baseball practice at 9am then Annellise had a soccer game at 10, then Harper had his football game at 11:30 but it did not start until 12..so that put us behind, thankfully mom was there and she took Annellise home to get a shower and change clothes and Kyle took her to her first birthday party at 1pm, it was a skating party..when Harper and I got there about 2 she was just skating up a storm..I was so excited to see her skate because she had never skated before...We left the party early and went to another birthday party at Build a Bear..that lasted until about 5pm...Mom met me there so she did help me with them ..thanks mom....We then met Bert at Cracker Barrell for supper ( yummy pancakes) then home to bed..We were all worn out...I really wish Bert didnt work on Saturdays because yesterday just about killed me..My back was hurting so bad...But what do you do? Your children ALWAYS come first...I slept until about 12 today..Bert took the kids to church and to eat Mexican ( of course).....Right now Bert and Harper are at his baseball game...( I just couldnt go out and sweat in the heat again today so Annellise and I stayed home)...then off to church tonight...Im posting lots of pictures to catch up...

Gosh, it has been a rough week..Last Wednesday I started feeling really bad (sort of like the flu) my back was KILLING me, not my normal back pain---About 3 am I woke up with fever of 101 and severe back pain and my insision looked horrible..I had been on antibiotics since Monday because my insision was draining a little but it wasnt swollen or red..But on Thursday it all changed...My dr is off on Thursdays because that is his surgery day..When I woke up I thought I was dying, I took my antibiotic and ate something( BAD choice)...I finally called his office and because I ate I had to wait until Friday am to see him..Alli took off work and took me to the dr. I was in SO much pain...He looked at my insision and said I was being admitted and having emergency surgery that day..So long story short, they took me to the wrong place and I was in a waiting room with about 50 people and could hardly dit down....I was suppose to go to a room instead and get some pain meds..so that delayed everything about 2 hrs.....I was not in a good mood and in pain---then they had to take lots of blood and I have horrible veins...about 1pm I went to surgery and they found out I had a staff infection ( the BAD one MRSA) its the one you get in the hospital so I got it 2 weeks prior when I had my back surgery...it is resistant to most antibiotocs so we are just praying that my dr got all the infection during surgery...If not I will get a PIC line (IV) and get IV antibiotics 3 times a day for 6 weeks...I DO NOT WANT THAT...we go on our cruise Nov 12 so please pray that these next few weeks my infection does not come back...I still have stitches and will get them out on Oct 8...My insision looks good, but I still feel pretty bad..I have NO energy and it takes everything I have to get dressed everyday...I hope that gets better. I went to the dr today and they took my blood so hopefully all is OK.....

I cant believe its Tuesday already..I havent posted since Friday..What happened to me? I am still at home.I am off all this week and will work Mon and Tues next week then start my 5 days on Oct 3..I went to the dr. yesterday, I cried of course. Bert couldnt go so I went by myself..We talked about pain management, I am suppose to get a call today telling me when my appointment is. We are going to see about a pain pump that is put inside your spine that gives you a dose. My only problem is I do work in MRI and I think that will be a problem (the magnetic field can stop it like a pacemaker) so I will have to talk with the dr and find out my options...right now I am just so tired to taking meds and just want my life back, we just dont know if it will ever get better...This is what happens after yrs of scoliosis..it sucks! I just pray that neither one of my children will ever go through this...
We went to the Hillcrest game Friday night, the kids has so much fun running around and playing..Saturday was a lazy day...I dont think we did anything..Sunday we had church and then Harper had a baseball game...IT WAS SO HOT!!! Bert and I started a Bible study on Sunday nights on the book of Revelation...I am going to enjoy it..The kids have a good time on Sunday nights too...
Harper has had some trouble in school with bringing his books home each night..It seems like every week he forgets something and cant do his homework because he forgot that book, so he cant play gameboy or his playstaion...it just about kills him...Yesterday he BROUGHT HOME ALL HIS HOMEWORK...YEAH! I was so proud of him....Lets see if he can do it today..He loves to go to daycare and I told him he could go Wednesday if he does good tonight so we will see.
Tonight we have soccer and football practice and then Thursday night..Friday is homecoming at Hillcrest, we are playing my school Copiah Academy! Who will I cheer for! HA! Saturday starts the big Soccer and Football games, Baseball practice, a birthday party, then bowling that night...Sunday is Grandaddys birthday party so we are off to Cleveland! I cant wait to see baby Presley! I need to love on that sweet baby girl.....I need some pictures of her, Im sure she has changed alot since we last saw her....well I have to go....I will post lots of new pictures after this weekend.

I love Fridays...especially now that it is footbal season.. It has rained here for the past 48 hours..We did need it. It is so nice outside to my truck temperature says 74 degrees...WOW! Tonight we are planning on going to the Hillcrest football game. I think I can make it sitting on the bleachers for a little while..The kids just love to go, Harper runs aroung with his little friends playing football and chasing girls..Annellise loves to cheer with the cheerleaders...She wears her cheerleader suit and pompoms...They are so cute!
Annellise had soccer practice Tueday night, bless her heart,Harper took her soccer ball and was playing with it, she was yelling at him to give her the BASKETBALL....ha, you would think at least she would know what type of ball she uses for soccer...Harper didnt get to go to his first football practice because of rain so who knows when he will practice...Next Saturday we have a soccer game, football game, Annellise has a birthday party to go to and our Sunday school class is going to bowl on Saturday night and oh I forgot Harper has baseball practice too....why do I do this to myself?......We have had so many people bring us food this past week...It was so nice of them, I think we have all gained about 5 pounds...All I do is sit here and EAT!!! right now I have homemade brownies and pound cake sitting on the kitchen counter...

Yesterday Annellise came home and as usual has work she had done that day in school...She has been practicing so much on writing her name..It was my mistake and this summer we learned in all capital letters..well,WRONG, they dont teach that so we have had to work on lower case letters. Bless her heart her parents did not give her an easy name..ha....But she has done well this past week, Anyway, one of her sheets was a page she was to color and it said something like What is something you thank God for and my child said......High School Musical 2...(not her parents or family but a movie) she is so funny and obsessed with High School Musical and Hanna Montana....THank goodness it is a Disney movie and not anything bad.....I have no idea what God has planned for my little girl but she is definately a funny,loud, and loving child...She only goes to school to socialize and can tell you who every child ( and their parents) are in the elementary and they all LOVE her....SHe loves to hug all the children( she is about 3 inches taller than most of them..HA)....I have no idea where she gets it because I am not really a people person ( I have a hard time talking to people I dont know) I guess Bert is in a way but nothing like Annellise and Harper is more like me and pretty shy around people....this week we start our Onward Soccer and Football practice....It is still so hot, Annellise has soccer practice tonight and Harper has football on Thursday...I will take some pictures....Annellise is going to be so funny I am excited to see how she will do, Harper will do great, at tryouts the guy told me that he has done better than any that had tried out so far...He and his friends play football EVERY day on the playground so I am excited to see what he will do....He is just so skinny and tall I worry that he will get hurt, I guess I should be thankful it is flag football.....he just loves it.....I hope doing baseball and football at the same time will not be too much for him..I am so thankful he is athletic ( I had hoped he wouldnt play the piano or and instrument) sorry for all those who do I just never wanted my son to do that....I probobly shouldnt say that but Bert will surely agree..HA....Anyway I have rambled on long enough, I am still at home recovering..I am pretty sure my surgery didnt work, yesterday I was on my feet for a couple of hours and BACK PAIN again---the same as before, so unless I sit all day I am going to hurt and that does NOT make me happy......I better go, I have to go and get the kids, its my only excitedment all day to get out of the house..HA.....I will post pictures of soccer and football later in the week.....

Baseball......and Sunday

Today was our first fall baseball game, it was a lot of fun and Harper did GREAT!!! He played short stop today ( he had never played that position before)..He stopped the ball and ran to 2nd and got someone out and then he got the ball and threw it to 1st and got the player out...I just can not believe how great he did..he also hit the ball great ( he never got out) this was really the first time the team had played together and had only 1 practice and they won 13 to 5 ( really it would have been more but at 3rd quarter they turned the scoreboard off) My baby is awesome!!! It was so hot I mean so hot..I was burning up! we then went to Bops and got ice cream....When we got home Alli and her family was here with a STRAWBERRY cake! That is my ultimate favorite cake ( my moms recipe) I usually only get it for my birthday but since I had back surgery I guess I deserved it HA ...I will definately start Weight Watchers now...I am miserable!
Ok, I am going to vent...I have talked before about Rock of Love (the show about Bret Micheals finding love)...I hate Lacy and she is still here..WHY! she is such a LOSER and SO UGLY! I love little Jess I hope he picks her....The only ones left are Jess, The Stripper Heather, and Ugly Lacy......Poor Brandy went home by her own choice today...I liked her too..Next week we meet their parents..I cant imagine what Lacy's parents think of her.....Anyway, I will be VERY disappointed in poor Bret if her picks anyone but cute little Jess...
Bert and the kids have gone to church tonight..Bert is starting a Bible study tonight for men and the kids want to go and they will have lots of fun and learn about Jesus...Every other Sunday Annellise will have choir and she will LOVE that!
Anyway I better go, I want to say Happy Grandparents day! I know I dont always tell you but we really appreciate All you do for us and we love you!

Lazy Saturday

I am soooo bored! Annellise spent the night with Caki and Pop and Harper spent the night with Russell...I finally talked Bert into taking me for a ride last night..I have been dying to get out of the house. We went to Blockbuster and the grocery store to get some milk..I watched 2 movies last night and read 2 magazines. Today I have watched 2 movies on Lifetime Movie Network, not a good idea, I have cried for 4 hours...Why do they make the movies so sad? Harper had baseball practice this morning and him and Bert have now gone to Wal Mart, Annellise is still at Caki and Pops... Payton decided he wanted to go this morning too because he thought Annellise was having more fun than he was at their house..He wanted to play in the playhouse and hunt with Annellise and Pop. So I am still stuck here in the chair going CRAZY!!!! I have read peoples blogs that I dont even know and now I am watching yet another Lifetime movie..My cousin Ashley is having another baby..YEAH...mom just called and told me. They were at the grove at Ole Miss and Molly Cate had a shirt on that said Im going to be a big sister...that is so sweet...Congrats Ashley and Ken....My Sunday School class is bringing over supper tonight ( it is so thoughtful of them)...I have a great class! I am hoping to start driving this week and maybe going back to work the next...I hope and pray that my back is better...I have so much to do this fall with the kids and would love to be pain free....Plus Bert and I are going on our cruise in November..not long at all...I need to start my Weight Watchers again when I recover because I know I will do nothing but eat on the boat....Well I better go, hopefully someone will be home again soon so I can have someone to talk to....it really weird that when you can actually take a nap or catch up on reading you never do it, wonder why that is?

my surgery is over--yeah---Im a little disappointed because when I was in surgery my dr couldnt find the crack in my fusion, therefore my surgery didnt require new screws and hardware. I had some scar tissue and other stuff that he had to clean out in my back.. We will not know if that was causing my severe back pain for about 7 to 10 days..Right now I am just taking it easy,not doing ANYTHING, ( BORED), I am still in a lot of pain from the surgery. My sweet little children have been so good and helpful...Little Annellise just loved on me yesterday, rubbed my hand and told me she loved her mommy..(they are so sweet)....Harper is in heaven this week because he gets to go to daycare everyday..He loves daycare, Annellise hates it but today she starts her dancing at daycare..She was so excited! I cant wait to drive and get back to myself again..I am so tired of having back pain!....Oh well I have had my pitty party sorry that I have bored you.....Thank you all for helping while I was in the hospital...I could cot have done it with out my parents, Alli and Kyle, and Bert ( I actually slept pretty good with his snoring in the hospital) He snores SO BAD! I will have to remember to take some earplugs when we go on our cruise ha...but I love him anyway..ha..

It is hard for me to realize today is actually a holiday..I was off today anyway and Bert is at work as usual, I cant tell you how many times I have caught myself trying to go get the mail..ha...Annellise and Harper are playing in their rooms and there is nothing on tv..I am watching the marathon of ROCK OF LOVE, I have seen all the episodes already so I dont know why I am watching them again..My Young and the Restless, Dr. Phil, and Oprah are not on, its all tennis and who wants to watch that...Back to Rock of Love, those girls are crazy especially Lacey, she is CRAZY...I have no idea why Bret will not let her go.....I love little Jes and her hot pink and blond hair, I hope he picks her but Heather the stripper will probobly win...
I go into the hospital at 7 IN THE MORNING..I am getting nervous as it gets closer and closer, luckily I have a valium to take in the morning....I am soooo nervous about getting my IV, it makes me nausious just writing it....After the IV I am fine, its just getting that needle in my arm.......OK no more about the needle, as I have said I am so bored today, there is nothing to do and the kids so not want to play with me....they have eaten enough m&m's and skittles to make you sick...For some reason Annellise likes to mix them in a ziploc bag (it is really gross to think about mixing the two)...Well I will check back in about a week...Happy Labor Day! ( I hope yours is more exciting than mine..HA)

My littleAnnellise did something so funny last night, she went to her room, turned the light on and off then walked back to my room, turned the light on and off and then got back in the bed...It was so funny! I tried asking her what she was doing and she was sound asleep....So Bert and I assume she was sleep walking. That is too funny!

Bert went to eat lunch with Harper today then checked him out early..They went to the deer camp so they can get up early and go dove hunting..Harper is so excited. He gets to shoot his gun for REAL....I cant wait to hear about his first hunting trip. I bet he will be so cute in his camo..Annellise and I are having girls night. We are going to eat (her choice) and come home and take bubble baths and do our toenails...Tommorrow she is going to stay with Alli while Harper and I go to one of Harper's friends birthday parties...Harper's first baseball game is next Saturday. I cant believe I am letting him play baseball and football and Annellise is taking dance and playing soccer. I am waiting for a call to tell us whos team they are both on. I guess practice will start soon...I am going in Tuesday morning at 7 for my back surgery..I can only pray that God will be with us for the next couple of weeks....they will be tough...I am so nervous about next week, it is hard to be away from them..I hope all their homework and activities will get done..I have made a 3 page (front and back) notes for Bert, Mom, and Alli....Bert bless his heart will have a tought week too..Pray for him that he will survive putting up with me and taking care of the kids...I love him so much and I know that I dont always tell him how much I appreciate all he does for me and the children..

Busy Sunday

Today was a very busy day. We went to church this morning and came home to get ready. We had Alli's "BIG 30" birthday party. It is hard to believe she is going to be 30 on Tuesday. (that means I will be 35 in December) Mom, Dad, and Nannie came over and we all had spagetti (Alli's favorite food that we have to eat every year on her birthday) and for her favorite dessert I made her a pound cake....We ate and opened presents then Alli and I had to leave her party to go to a babyshower at the church. We left the kids and the other adults to swim...My little Annellise can swim so good. She can swim all the way from the shallow to the deep end with no floaties and she can dive to the bottom....That is so great for a 4 year old...We are all tired and ready to go to bed..Its only 2 more days of work for me before my surgery. Im getting a little nervous, I know how bad my recovery is going to be....I am nesting, trying to get everything ready before I go to the hospital. I worry so much about the kids and if they will wear the correct clothes and get all their stuff ready for school..Bert is going to have so much to do...I just pray it will all work out....

the Tooth---

my sweet little Harper lost his front tooth...He was outside in the pool with Bert and Annellise and all of a sudden he came running inside screaming and blood EVERYWHERE.....bless his little heart, he slipped on the steps getting out of the pool and fell on his face on the concrete and it knocked his front tooth out...It even cut his lip, nose, and the skin above his lip...He was so scared (he is my child for sure) and it was so much blood...No kidding I had to sit on the toilet and then lie down on the bed because I almost passed out..You know that had to have hurt hitting your face so hard on the concrete it knocks your tooth out.
Annellise is so funny, she loves to sing and sings ALL the time...We were in the car yesterday and she was singing to the radio and asked me if she sings beautiful and of course I said oh! Yes!...she was quiet for a minute and said, momma if you pray to Jesus he will give you my voice so you can sing like me...what I precious child she is..Only a child could come up with something like that..She also will yell across the house Mama! and when I answer she just says " I love you" it makes me sad that Harper is getting too big and tough to dare say that, but at least I get to sneak in my hugs and love on him often...They grow up so fast!

I just read someones blog that said most people dont know silly things about each other,so that being said I will write 10 things that yo might not know about me......

1. I would love to have another baby if not many more...but I have a bad back and can hardly carry myself around much less another child...

2. I love to think of baby names--when I was little I would cut families out of the JCPenny and Sears catalog, glue them to paper, and give them all names..

3. I spend an abserd amount of money on shoes for myself and Annellise and Harper...for some reason I think Annellise should have a shoe in every color..ha

4.I love for my kids to have cute and cool clothes---its a good thing they wear uniforms because then I would probobly have a problem--ha

5. I take 2 if not 3 showers a day, yes that is true, I can not stand to be dirty

6. I sometimes make the kids take that many showers and baths too..

7. I love, love chocolate---Reeces pieces are one of my favorites--I also love pecan cobbler from Bop's...I love all dessert!!! there I said it..ha

8. I am very moody and grumpy when I am hurting (my back) and I am not fun to be around! ( I cant believe I admitted it)

9.I love my children and all the kids that I am kin to but I WOULD NOT want to be a teacher, work in a daycare, or keep kids for a living......I think those people have a special calling because I could not do it...

10. I am afraid of needles...I stick people all day but can not handle being stuck, I am deathly afraid of IV's....

11. I had to add 1 more, I wish I would have taken time to learn to sew when I was younger, I would love to make and monogram things for the kids...

Tommorrow starts a new week at school, I am off tomorrow and Tuesday (yeah)..We went to church this morning and then to the Mexican restaurant, ( our usual Sunday ritual) the waiter even knew Payton's drink order...Bert looks forward to that every Sunday...he loves Poco Loco..it is grilled chicken with caso on top..and makes us go EVERY Sunday so he can eat it...
last night Bert, Harper, dad, and Kyle went to the church for a special man dinner. They had all types of game to eat (Kyle cooked it) and had a guest speaker..they had over 250 people to attend and It sounds like it was a hit...this was the first year to do it....Annellise and I went shopping at Northpark and had a good time, just the 2 of us then went to Keifers to eat..We had a great girl time...

Our Week

We are so glad its Friday.. The kids have enjoyed school and their new teachers. I have kept Price the last 2 days, he is such a sweet and good baby. I think I have spoiled him alittle. Each time when we went to pick up Annellise at 11:30 and then Harper at 2:40 he cried....I dont think he likes that car seat..Alli said she thought he was scared I was taking him home....He is not that spoiled ha....Annellise has learned new songs and she said they are learning to raise their hands when they need to talk to the teacher. ( I would hope she already knows that)...Harper had a spelling test today and had to memorize his Bible verse for the week...he is so smart and really doesnt have to study, I hope he will always be that way. Poor little Annellise is going to have a time, she could care less about school work. Annellise and Payton have had a good time, I am glad they are not in the same class because it makes it more fun to see each other on the playground and play..As for Bert and I this week has been pretty low key. I worked Monday and Tuesday and Bert worked everyday this week and is off tommorrow. They are having a mens day and church tommorrow afternoon and night..it is all about hunting, so he and Harper will have lots of fun.. I am not sure what Annellise and I will do, we are sitting in the bed right now watching High School Musical 2...she is so into anything that has singing...it is a cute movie. I actually watched and sing the songs from HS Musical1..It reminds me of Grease that we watched growing up...I am so ready for my back surgery (but not all the pain)...My back has killed me today...only 2 more weeks.....we are getting a cold front (93 degrees) this weekend---ha,ha---Hopefully we can swim tommorrow and Sunday. I think the kids are a little burnt out on swimming, they never ask but it has been so hot, the pool is like bath water... You should see Annellise right now, she has on her HSMusical gown with a sequin belt and is standing on the bed dancing. ( she is definantly my little "DRAMA QUEEN"......)I think her hair is finally growing but Im not quite sure...Caki thinks so...Today we put Payton and Annellise back to back to see how much they have grown, at the beginning of the summer Annellise was about 1/2 inch taller and how she is a good 2 1/2 inches taller....I cant believe it, she has always been the tallest of everyone in school and at church in fact most people dont believe she is 4 yrs old...Harper has grown about 2 inches this summer too,all of his pants are too short, but bless his heart he is so skinny. (he could probobly fit in a size 2 in the waist)ha...He has lost both bottom middle teeth and his top front ones are loose...he is growing up so fast and is the sweetest little boy...Ok I will hush now and go look at a magazine......

School

School started today! YEAH! this week has been crazy running back and forth each night for teacher parent meetings...Yesterday morning Bert took the kids to meet their teachers. They are going to have so much fun..2nd grade is not easy, they start learning to write in cursive in the next two weeks, can you believe it? They have about 10 books and they are going to have lots of homework..Each week last year they had to recite a bible verse in front of the class, this year they have to write it by memory on Fridays...that is unbelievable...he is just getting so big. I hope Annellise learns anything...she couldnt even write her name until this summer....She is going to keep Bert and I on her toes, I can only imagine her as a teenager. She only goes to school to socialize...She knows every teacher and just about every student, she is on first name basis with both the janitors...ha....she is definately a social butterfly...Mrs. Brown the principle told Bert that Annellise sure has come out of her shell..ha....(she was never in it)...Bert told her Annellise will probobly be spending lots of time in her office..ha..(he was joking)...Harper on the other hand is quiet if he doesnt know you and just goes with the flow...He is NEVER in any hurry...Slow is the only speed he knows....Dont we all wish we could be like that....

Lazy Sunday

I am sitting here on the computer while Annellise is singing and watching Hanna Montana--I bet you never would have guessed that.ha..We went to church and our Sunday usual eating at the Mexican restaurant...(we have to eat there every Sunday, it wasw 21 of us today)....Bert and Harper just left to go to the Wildlife extravaganza at the Trade Mart...So it is just Annellise and I here, I need to fold clothes and do other housework but I am on the computer, reading everyone elses blogs that I dont know...Bert thinks this is so stupid... school starts on Friday, we have a busy week, Tuesday Bert and I go and meet Annellise's teacher and on Thursday we go and meet Harper's teacher...I work Tues, Wed, and Thurs. this week so I will be off their 1st day of school...I am going to pick up Payton on Friday too and we will go to Mcdonalds or the new Backyard burger if its not too crouded..Harper doesnt get out until 1:45 so he will eat at school....We then start soccer and dancing for Annellise and football and fall baseball for Harper on top of me having major back surgery and Bert doesnt get home until 6:30 so he cant help and we still have homework....Why do I allow myself to take all this on? I do it for my children.....I love seeing them play and do things they love and you never get these times back...If that woman that just had her 17th child can do it, surely I can...( why in the world would you have 17 children, on top of that they are homeschooled so you never get alone time..I would go insane!!!!) Can you imagine giving birth that manyt times---I am surprized the babies just dont fall out ha.... Annellise was born with my labor starting at 12:30 and she was born 45 min later at 1:15---and she was my 2nd child....

Gosh, its been a long time since I have written...We are getting ready for school again. They start next Friday..I am going to love being part time so I can go get them and they dont have to go daycare. (Annellise hates it) Anyway, I went to the dr. yesterday and I actually do have something wrong with my back therefore I actually have a reason for my back pain. I have a seperation in my fusion at L5 S1 , in other words my fusion is not complete at that level..I am to have my 4th back surgery ( in 1 1/2 yrs) on Sept.4th..so keep us in your prayers..It is going to be a painful surgery about 1/2 the pain of my 1st one says Dr. Senter...I hope I can make it, that was as close to death as I have ever been. Pray for Bert, I am not in the best moods lately due to pain. I want to have no pain when we go on our cruise in November.........Harper and Bert went to see the Saints play at 9:00 this am...Harper was so excited...If I have to hear Hanna Montana music again I will scream....Annellise is singing it at the top of her lungs as we speak....We ran errands today since Bert was off. We ate lunch at Cane's and then went to Toys r Us...THen we got some ice cream at Sal and Mookies on the way home....I LOVE SAL AND MOOKIES ice cream...banana is the best... the kids are fighting so I have to go....

The Beach

We just got back from Orange Beach and had a great time..We didnt want to come home...My mom and dad and Nannie went so did Allison and her family. We stayed in a wonderful condo..it was about the size of a house. It had 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, it also had a media room, large living room and kitchen..The condo had 6 swimming pools, a lazy river, an indoor pool and 3 hottubs....It was awesome..Next year we are definately staying longer, it just went by too fast.

We went to the circus on the 12th. We took Payton and had lots of fun..the kids loved it...I was alittle disappointed, I always thought the circus had lions and tigers..There were none, just 1 elephant,some white horses, and some dogs...Anyway they had a good time (I guess that is all that matters..ha)

our July 4th was pretty boring. Bert worked all day and it was cloudy and sprinkled some...we had planned on spending our day by the pool. When Bert got home he took the kids to the church (it was God and Country day, lots of jumping things and snoe cones then fireworks). My back has been hurting really bad so we havent done much the last few days..it rains all day everyday...Friday I went to the doctor, I am having a bone scan Monday, he thinks I might have a sacral fracture...so we will see.. We went to the Braves game on Friday night, it was fun, the kids love going and they had fireworks....Annellise slept until 11:15 this morning.....I couldnt believe it and I had to wake her up..I hope it doesnt rain again tommorrow, the kids are going crazy to swim and get outside...

Annellise spent the night with Caki and Pop last night, so it was just Harper and I this morning. We just laid around...he played his Gameboy and I read. We went to Landon's birthday party.It was a lot of fun..The kids swam and played on Landon's new 4 wheeler..Then we drove to Hazlehurst to get Annellise..Hopefully the kids will fall asleep early but Im not holding my breath...Tomorrow we are planning on going to church and just swimming. (I love days like that).. I have to work Monday and Tuesday then Im off till next Wednesday. I ready because my back is bothering me again...

Swim Party

We had a great time last night. We had our Sunday School party and had crawfish and shrimp and hamburgers for the kids. We had so much fun. We are all worn out.....Today we did pretty much of nothing. Annellise loves Hanna Montana so I went to Wal Mart and bought her the CD..All she has done is sing and sing. When Bert got home from work we went swimming for the 2nd time today...I am so tired of washing beachtowels...it is about 3 weeks till we go to the beach and I cant wait....Tommorrow the kids start bible school for 4 nights. They are excited. Especially Annellise, she is finally old enough to go....

Busy Day

Yesterday we went to buy school uniforms. It is hard to believe its that time again. We then went to Sports Cuts to get Harper and Payton's hair cut. It is such a cute BOYS place (sports stuff everywhere). After we went to eat and do a little shopping at Target. Annellise started feeling bad just laid her head on the buggy when we got home she had a fever of 102. I have no idea why, all she complains about is a headache. It was just us girls here last night too. Bert and Harper went to deer camp to spend the night and fish.. Annellise woke up feeling fine but had high fever again after lunch. Tommorrow we are going to get passports for our cruise. I am getting excited even though it is 5 months away.. We are also having a crawfish boil and swim party for our Sunday school class and families.. ( about 50 people) I will be worn out Saturday but it will be fun, lets just hope Annellise has no fever tommorrow. She will not be a happy child if she cant swim with all the kids...

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

We had a great day today..I made cinnamon rolls from scratch for my dear husband..He is such a great dad! Harper and Annellise are so lucky to have him as their dad! We went to church and came back home to have a family day. My parents, grandmother, sister, and her family all came over for lunch. We cooked hamburgers and had 3 desserts.(HA)...Then we spent the day swimming in the pool. It was such a relaxing day and I got to spend it with my wonderful dad and my wonderful husband...My dad is the best dad I could ever ask for and he is a great POP..I am so glad he finally got some boys in the family. He had to have 3 women in the house for years and no boys. Now he has 3 grandsons and 1 grandaughter.....He finally had some BOYS!
Last night we took him to the Mississippi Braves game. We had a good time. ( after we went to Wal Mart and didnt get home until 11:00, I think that was the latest he has stayed out in a while Ha).... Anyway, HAPPY FATHERS DAY DAD-----and Bert.... I love you both.

It is now 10:10 and I am now a blogger..yeah..thanks May..I had to work today and it was very busy at the hospital..After picking up the kids we went to the grocery store.FUN..ha...I had to bribe Harper and Annellise with candy.We got home at 6:30 and no one had eaten or had baths. Alli and the kids came over to play and we watched the Daytime Emmy Awards...I just love YOung and the Restless.Ha....
